Are these as hard as Crocs or softer?

I'd say these are softer than cross, but still comfortable, durable, and supportive.

Will hot temperature destory the sandal. I tend to leave sandal in the trunk in the summer.

Yes- it says to avoid heat while not wearing. I shrunk 3 pairs of croc sandals because I left them outside in the summer.

Are they durable enough for hiking? How do they fit wide feet?

They fit a bit on wide side however, if you intend to hike I would suggest a more upgraded Teva sandal . . ."Hurricane 4", "Hurricane XLT2" or "Tirra"

Do thesehave good arch support? I typically wear Vionics which have good arch support with a deep heel cup that helps my knees stay straight.

We would rate the arch as "moderate".. .likely a bit less than most Vionic's
