SMOOTHERPRO Fidget Spining Bolt Action Pen, with Decision Make, Black

Flicked it open in a meeting and spent the next hour spinning the bolt back and forth instead of taking notes. That’s the whole point, right? It’s heavy for a pen, all metal, feels like you could use it to defend your lunch in a break room brawl. Texture has grip but won’t chew up your fingers. Doesn’t look like a toy, which helps. Ink’s smooth. Writes like a Pilot G2 because it is a Pilot G2. You’re here for the click and spin. The bolt slide is tight but not crunchy. No rattle. No wiggle. Might loosen up over time but mine hasn’t yet. Says “YES” or “NO” etc when you flick the top spinner. I use it to decide if I’m answering emails or ignoring them. Overkill for a pen. Exactly why I like it.

I don’t leave a lot of reviews, and these days you never know what is accurate. However, I am leaving on for this pen. Its actually really cool. The fidget piece is not intrusive and it spins forever!!! Almost too long hahah. Comes with one cartridge but supports my favorite refills, so its a definite plus. Additionally, it seems to have a glass breaker. Only one con... not pocket clip. But honestly. It can be a desk queen, ill buy another one from this company to go "off desk" If your a pen clicker, like me, and/or you bite your pens, this is a definite win!!!

This pen is great for my endless fidgeting. The spinner on it is so smooth, it has almost no friction, and it's so satisfying to sit and endlessly spin. I use it all the time at work when I'm talking to people, I just sit and spin the top and it helps me focus. I've had several coworkers, including a supervisor, ask me about it. I always hand it over to them and it's always instant memorization with a request for the link so they can buy one. The offset click to activate the pen itself can also be used as a fidget device as well as being a really cool way to keep the pen from not opening or closing when you don't want it to. I love being able to have my fidget toy be my pen without being noisy and obnoxious like the normal clicking and unclicking when using a standard pen, it's subtle, easy to keep in my pocket, and I don't have to carry another fidget toy around. The spinning does make noise, but it's much quieter and less annoying than a constant "click CLICK, click CLICK". The pen housing itself is super solid. The entire thing is metal. This pen is heavy compared to other pens. It makes it very satisfying to hold and it feels like it will take a beating. My only two complaints about this pen are the ink and the lack of a clip to hook it to something. I usually clip my pens to a notebook, the inside of my pocket, or my shirt, and this pen has no clip to do that, so I'm afraid that eventually I'm going to lose it. The ink that came included with the pen worked great the first few times I used it and then froze up and stopped working but the fact that it can easily be swapped out for refills made it not a big deal. I got a pack of G2 refills, which is my favorite ink anyway, and swapped that into it, and now it's like combining my two favorite pens and getting the best of both worlds. One star taken off for the lack of a clip and the need to swap ink, but even so, I'd highly recommend this pen. I even bought a second one to give as a gift to a friend who is always fidgeting.

The pen feels sturdy without being a metal club, thanks to its aircraft-grade aluminum body. Even the threads glide together neatly, which is a relief if you’ve ever wrestled with cheap, squeaky parts. The spiral design somehow zeros you in, especially if you’re the type who needs an extra dose of visual or tactile stimulation. Then there’s the bolt action: quiet enough that you won’t become the resident classroom annoyance, but don’t expect that small click to quell any raging fidget urges on its own. The real silent hero is the top spinner—a buttery-smooth twirl that won’t signal “fidget meltdown” to the entire room. Overall, it’s a slick writing tool that still has a few built-in fidget moves to keep the ADHD monster at bay—subtle enough for a study hall, but engaging enough to make you actually want to write more than two sentences at a stretch.

As I worked with my 10 year old grandson (I’m a retired special education teacher) and watched/listened to how many times he clicked the pen he was using, I thought, “ he’s going to drive the teacher & other students crazy as he moved from home school to a classroom!” I bought this for him & explained why I bought it - he loves it! This is a nicely weighted pen & you can replace the ink cartridge. His mother said he cannot keep track of pens, going on 2 years now & he still has this one (which stays in his backpack).

This pen is fun to fidget with, and it writes very nice, however the bolt action feature is not smooth at all.. it’s very rough. If you’re looking for a smooth sliding bolt, this isn’t it. Update: added some WD-40 to the bolt and also to the ball barrings in the spinner on the top and it’s a completely new pen! Love it! It’s easily my favorite pen now. Also, I switched out the original ink for g2 bold writing ink and it writes SO smooth. Much smoother than the original medium size ink that came with it.

I love this pen. I like the spinning part and I love how it's weighted. I wish I had found blue ink for it though.

J'ai acheté ce stylo a un employé qui faisait du bruits avec tout ce qu'il touchait. C'est un parfait fidget pour le travail. utile en tant que stylo et parfait pour ne pas déranger tout le monde en faisant tourner le dé puisqu'il est silencieux.

Tourne sans accro. Tres beau tout en noir.

Der Stift schreibt sehr flüssig und macht einen hochwertigen, robusten Eindruck. Es war ein Geschenk für meine Tochter, die den Stift schon alleine wegen der fidget spinner Funktion gar nicht mehr aus der Hand legen wollte!
