Exact replacement for my SKB rack case.
It works perfectly with the original mounting holes and catch. I pop riveted it on, and the holes are the right size for the rivets as well.

Simple & sturdy fix for broken molded cases
These butterfly latches work great for repairing molded plastic cases where the flimsy latches eventually fail. Installation is simple and the "capture range" of the latch works very well. Stainless steel resists corrosion, so these should last indefinitely. My main criticism is that none of the pieces are deburred, so there are relatively sharp edges in numerous places, notably including the handles. Fixing this is an extra step for a clean installation & comfortable use.

Easy to use.
Used these to make a solar panel case. I hinged two panels together on one side and these locks on the other to keep it closed. I pop riveted everything.
