One of the best albums at the turn of the 21st century

*by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2017*

As a fan of most of the similar music that came out around the same time (late 90's/early 00's: such as Mouse on Mars, and the like), this album, along with an obscure, experimental offering by the Korean "group" Byul [dot] org (from their "Monthly Vampire" magazine/music series in 2001), has etched itself into my mind as THE "artsy" electro music of the turn of the 21st century: darkly haunting and melancholic, yet bright and winsome in all the right places. It's a shifting bi-polar kaleidoscope to be sure, and it thoroughly succeeds as such; I am thrilled to finally get it on vinyl...It will sit as the right-hand bracket of an amazing decade of innovation in "ambient", "thinking-man's" electronica, that has Orbital's second eponymously titled album with The Orb's "Live 93" on the other.

trippy, meditative as well as kind of dark

*by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 24, 2018*

This release is probably my favorite album by this group. It has a very spacey and honest feel to it. Even though this group is one of the more popular electronic acts out there i feel they are not commercial and just happen to fall into the slightly commercial category. If ever there was group that uses vocal samples the perfect way this is the ticket. \The use of trippy samples is a main contributing factor that lead to my favorable rating of this album.I recommend this release highly.

    Perfect, beautiful

*by P***K on Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2020*

One of my absolute favorite editions of any album, 3 LPs fit nicely in a beautifully printed trifold with full color printed paper sleeves (Need to add your own liner though); etching on side C2 of the nuclear family. Only drawback I think is it could have fit on 2 discs, maybe there is a variation of this. Just feels I’m needing to tend to the record player more often, would just like to let it play like Music Has the Rights
