You know how it is, spend time and money trying to find a good fit for fat old lady body...this brand fit me perfectly, for swimming ....i can put in over the swim suit to help the lady partsstay hidden and behave....for me these just feel great, I WISH they would go up a few more sizes, they are the best and even larger ladies would love the fit if you didn't stop at 26, lots of 28 & up that would love these puppies

I am reviewing Firpearl Women's Swim Shorts UPF50+ Sport Board Shorts. I am 5.5, 163lbs. I ordered a Large. The material was as expected and so was the overall general fit. Snug but not constricting because there will be a slight “give” when you are in the water. The outside of these swim shorts are generous in the fit with the material. My issue and finding is with the interior full panty. It is not a brief, more bikini in style. The panty is slightly smaller. The panty should have been sized differently as it doesn’t stretch to match the outer swim shorts. I’m planning to put these on and go in the shower to “test” if the inside panty loosens to match the outside. As it stands now, the tighter interior panty creates a slight “panty outline”. Not very flattering. While the panty does prevent that dreaded crack line in the private area, the outline shows everywhere else. The manufacturer could have alleviated this by making the full panty inside a half size larger so it stretched and matched the outside shorts. To return for an Extra Large is not the solution for me as it would be too big. The garment is still very nice and I plan to keep and use it. Not many have a separate panty, many only have a panel sewn to the inside front of their swim shorts. I also plan on dropping another 5-10 pounds which will create the perfect fit. I always seem to be between sizes and not a strict 10/12, Med or Large. Bottom line these are very nice and will pair nicely with a Tankini swim top.

these are almost exactly what I was hoping for. They are kind of like short leggings – not loose like shorts. Comfortable, modest, attractive things for swimming and kayaking.I got the drawstring type so they don’t fall down in the surf. They do have underwear built-in, and it’s very hard for me to find the panty line. The fabric is really thin, not like neoprene. That’s what I want, so they will dry quickly and be late.I have not tried them in the water yet, but they seem like exactly what I wanted.The only thing I don’t care for is that they are not as long wasted as I am. I thought they would come to my natural waist, but they really sit just above the hip and below my belly button unless I really pull them up in an awkward way. That will be a “live with“, as I will be wearing them with a rash guard anyway, so no one will see, but they aren’t as comfortable or flattering as I had hoped. It will do.In case it helps anyone, my current measurements are:— height 5‘7“— weight 197 (bottom heavy)— bust 42 inches— waist 37 inches— hips 46 inches

I had bought a pair years ago and wore them all over the world. Loved them. The elastic has given way so until I replace that I needed another pair. I ordered these now by sizes and based on reviews, I ordered in a size that should have fit. They would if I were built like a telephone pole. The elastic is too thin and so it rolls while swimming, the fit is wrong and feels like I'm wearing a teenage boy's shorts. Not comfortable and ill fitting. Women have curvesI had ordered a few years ago but the seam in the crotch was so off that they fit wrong. I had hoped after 3 years they would have improved - they have not.I give it 3 stars in remembrance of the quality they used to have.

These and the swimshirt I bought are so perfect for me. I felt secure and comfortable all day at the pool. No rash, they dry quickly. True to size. And get this... they don't ride up! They are made from what I call swimsuit material. There is a mesh liner inside. I am so pleased with these, I have zero hesitation now going to the pool.

The swim shorts were very well made and looked good. The only problem for me was the length. They hit below the knee and were too long.

These board shorts are exactly as advertised, fit true to size, and are comfortable. I trust they hold up as well in water as they do on dry land. Great product.

I really like the pants. they seem sturdy & good quality.the only problem I have with them is that they are too small so I have returned them & will reorder in a larger size.

Perfect for what I like! I do not like skimpy bathing suits! These work perfect for going to the beach!
