We have two Maltese who both have very silky hair. It is nearly impossible to secure their hair to keep it out of their eyes. We’ve tried everything from barrettes, rubber bands, ribbons, etc. Nothing stays in for longer than maybe 30 minutes tops! We decided to try these because they are constructed differently than any rubber band type products we’ve tried. We’ve not been disappointed. The first time we used them on our female, whose hair is even more silky than her brother’s, her hair stayed up for FOUR DAYS! Honestly, that result seemed miraculous. If you have a dog or a kiddo who has baby fine hair, I think you’ll get satisfactory results using these bands. Good luck!

It took a little time to figure these out but when I did works great on my little Yorkies hair.

I have tiny dogs, like the one they have pictured with this product. But what I got was really LARGE elastics. More suited for adults or teenagers. But for little dogs hair, not so much.

I ended up not using these on my shih tzu puppy. I had wanted to grow a pony tail on him but decided against it.These rubber bands are adorable even though I ended up not using them. I’ll give them to my groomer.

These little bands are really nice they’re made a stretch material, almost like the 1970s sweat band material. My Maltese has long hair so I use it for the top of the hair for a ponytail to keep it out of her eyes. It’s been in for a few days now. Much easier than a rubber band.
