They are LOOSE in the little slots - so be careful to not let them slide around or they will no longer be good. I keep the empty white holders in there even when I've used one "page" as that helps keep them tight within the envelope that they come in. As long as you keep them snug in the holders, you'll be fine.

Okay so these batteries are awful. I use them for tea lights and they don’t last long at all. I only got one day use out of them that was initially put in. Last night I went to replace them and each battery I put in did not work. I went through 25 batteries before I found 4 that worked. I then decided to try the batteries that wouldn’t work in my scale just to make sure it was the batteries and not the tea lights. Well none of them worked. I thought this was gonna be a good buy but I am very disappointed. I wasted my money and still need to purchase more batteries. Seems like the batteries are probably old or has been sitting in the warehouse for a long time. The packaging was great but that’s it. Of course I didn’t order it for the looks. I wish I could get my money back.
