Learn all about the Norse beliefs
I liked that this book was so thorough and covered so many interesting aspects of the Norse belief system. There are several books in this collection. Books 1 and 4 are similar, except that book 4 goes into greater detail. These books are where the gods/goddesses, mythical beings, realms, etc are discussed. Book 2 looks at runes and how they can be used in divination. Book 3 looks at the Norse beliefs in the bigger scope of pagan beliefs. Here things like creationism and the afterlife are discussed. I incorporated a lot of this book in our homeschool study of world beliefs and myths. It was well written and an interesting read for me and my teen son.

Informative
The book is very informative, however, if you don’t have a basic knowledge of Norse beliefs it will get confusing. Being self published and clearly not proof read before publishing, it has a lot of grammatical errors and quite few times repeats information as though the author added it again thinking he hadn’t written it yet. Overall it is a good read, but will drive you bonkers with the amount of grammatical errors that could have easily been avoided and corrected had someone proof read it before publishing.

Get into Norse mythology
If you want to learn all there is to know about Norse mythology, paganism, magic, Vikings and runes then this four book series is for you. There are individual sections taking the time to explain. They also go into Asatru as well. By the end I got a great understanding of their beliefs and rituals.

Not what is shown in advertisement
Feeling ripped off as although it states "4 books in 1" it shows a picture of Four books in a case! Not impressed $50 for a paperback!
