Hi, I am like you since the company does not give you that information. What I have done since I bought this brand is Use the Darker Side, if wrapped correctly, i.e. firmly with a gauze pad The Darker Side actually warms via body heat and adheres to your wound.. Don't know if you are familiar with this product but I will share what I know since being instructed on use in February '23. Cut the Pad (with sterile or Alcohol wiped scissors) to the Wound size, place the Dark Side Directly to the wound, cover it with a Sterile Gauze Pad, and adhere the Gauze Pad with Medical Tape or Band-Aid if it is small. Change dressing daily. You will be amazed at the look of your wound after days 2 to 3. By the way, the wound area will take on the color of the Everlit Honey Drsg., so don't worry about the yellowish color. Hopefully my experience helps you. A.K.

Q: How does this adhere to skin?

I use medical tape. It won't adhere to the skin by itself. While it is somewhat sticky on one side, it isn't enough to keep it on when you move.
