These are one of my families favorites! Load this cup with shredded cheese, butter and sour cream. WOW it's great. Very filling. Daughter prefers the broccoli combo.

But as long as you have a microwave, you can't beat getting a tasty meal in just a few minutes making one of these. FOOD HACK #1 If you're making this at home, keep a bag of shredded cheese handy. The four=cheese Mexican blends work best, because the cheeses used are better as "melting" cheeses. When you're done cooking the rice, add a tablespoon or two of the shredded cheese, and give it a quick mix. It both helps the rice to cool down a bit quicker (you get to eat sooner), and makes it more "cheesy." And nothing can ever be TOO cheesy. FOOD HACK #2 Know what this goes surprisingly well with? Tacos and burritos. ESPECIALLY burritos. I was making some shredded chicken burritos, my Wife and her friend each asked if I'd make them one. I fixed two cups of the broccoli cheddar rice. And then added a few spoons worth to each burrito made. Both my Wife and her friend were really surprised at how good the burritos were. Because they knew that I typically only add white rice to my own burritos. But the rice, cheese and broccoli harmonized perfectly with the other ingredients. So if you want to make a taco or burrito go from "okay" to "wow," try adding this as a secret ingredient. Other than that, go ahead and order them. Cheaper than what it's sold in stores for. And smarter to buy it in bulk. So that you've always got them handy. One less thing you have to remember to buy when you're going to the grocery store.

Loved having these when I was in my dorm, they were super easy to store, and easy to make when I ether missed dinner or wasnt feeling great. Simple food that always came out the same.

I've purchased this a few times in the past, and it was fine before. This order arrived on September 29th 2025. It says best before November 8th 2025. The flavor powder has solidified. The rice grains don't look good.
