Got a Bolt and an Android phone?
I initially bought this to go with a 2019 BoltEv and an Audi e-Tron, primarily to see how the Bolt battery was doing. We had GM buy back the 2019 Bolt, and bought a 2021, thinking the newer car would not have any battery recall issues. So much for that idea.Anyhow, when I bought this device, the listing (and the box) stated that it worked with Apple iOS devices, but that does not seem to be the case now, six months later, when I actually got around to using it. I see now that Apple support has been completely removed from the Amazon product listing.It does work with the frau's Android phone, and it's her car, so no biggie. I used it with MyGreenVolt software, but it comes with it's own software and there are also other available products.The device plugged right in, and I was able to pair with the android phone no problem. Once paired, the software saw the device and the car no problem. I'm fairly technical, and the instructions that came with the device are pretty much useless. Full of bad grammar, translated poorly, etc. The device is plug and play, really, so not a big deal.
