They say DEET is not harmful, yet studies show it can be found in your blood after use... theoretically picaridin is too large to be absorbed through the skin. Just be careful, when applying the smell is NOXIOUS. So use in a well ventilated area. But after application, it smells so pleasant (like pineapple). Works just as good as DEET sprays in my experience.

Mosquitos and other pests are a concern in the area I like and one of my children reacts to mosquito bites in the form of larger welts where the bites happen, so repellent is essential. This bug spray is fairly effective in reducing the amount of bug bites (I haven't found anything that eliminates them, yet) but the reduction in stars is because of the smell. I want to say this this brand of Off is my absolute favorite out of all of them. I am normally turned off by the odor of the others. This one smells amazing! Super easy to apply and compact enough to keep in small travel bags! Powerful protection, especially in muggy places where it's needed the most!

Easy application and pleasant smelling. Much preferred to others that are more oily, and smelly. Oh, and it works with keeping them little suckers away.
