This water bottle is amazing - well worth the price! I have the dimpled ones myself and then purchased this one for my husband. We like to have two of the same bottle so that you can drink from one while the other sits in the fridge giving the water time to "infuse" in the copper. Although not insulated, the water bottles keep the water cold for quite some time, especially if you add ice or take it from the fridge. The water tastes good from the bottle, and I like that I can clearly see into the bottle. It seems to stay much fresher for longer than a stainless steel bottle does, and needs less maintenance. We clean ours with lemon juice and salt about once a month as suggested in the instructions. The screw top is great with a seal to stop leaks, but only about 1 turn needed to open and close it. We have tried other brands of copper water bottles but they were too thin, the drinking edge was sharper and the lids required many turns to screw/unscrew. The plan bottle has developed more of a patina than the dimpled bottle, and received many more dents, more easily than the dimpled bottles but we like how it is changing over time. I've been using my new water bottle for a few days now and I've been very happy with it. It seals up well and I haven't had any trouble with it leaking. The taste of copper takes a while to get use to but it's not bad, just different. Update, I've been using this water bottle daily for the past 7 months without any problems. I've washed it 3-4 times with dish soap and water and I only drink alkaline water out of it so the inside is just as clean as when I first got it. It's pure copper so the outside is somewhat discolored (I'm a mechanic so I get all kinds of chemicals on my hands), I've dropped it a few times so it's got some dents, I've frozen too much water in it causing the bottom to push out (I just tapped it back in with a hammer) and it still stays sealed. I like that you can stick it in the freezer with just a little water in it and the water will freeze in 5-10 min. then you can fill it up and have cold water very quickly. I'm still very happy with this water bottle and just ordered another one for a close friend. 2 1/2 year update with photo- this thing has been used all day every day for the past 30 months and it's got some wear and tear but it's still great. I washed it very well when I first got it but it doesn't need to be cleaned much if you only drink water out of it. It's tarnished but not corroded, it has plenty of dents but it's copper so that's expected, and I did have to remove the seal on the lid because the threads had worn out but it still closes tight just not water tight. I intend to keep using this water bottle forever so I'm happy with my purchase.

An exemplary piece of all-copper craftsmanship, one that stands out from other water bottles, especially those unattractive and environmentally unfriendly plastic ones. The copper is polished and shiny on arrival, but through use and natural oxidation will acquire a lovely mottled patina. Of course, if you prefer the new-penny look, you can easily polish the bottle from time to time. The hefty screw-cap, also all copper, comes with a thick rubber seal that prevents the contents from leaking. Like all uninsulated metal containers, this one is neither meant nor suitable for hot liquids, since the copper will immediately take on the temperature of whatever liquid it contains. Likewise, don't leave this bottle in your vehicle on a hot day if you don't want your water to be equally hot. The bottle I ordered arrived with a tiny dent near the bottom. The dent didn't affect the bottle's functionality or beauty in any way, but I thought this small "defect" might be of interest to the manufacturer, Fredrik Olsen. So, with the help of a business card that came with the bottle, I emailed Fredrik a few photos of the dent. Within minutes, he replied not only with an apology, but also with the news that a replacement bottle would arrive two days later -- which it did -- even though I insisted that a replacement was totally unnecessary. In sum, if you're looking for an aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly water bottle, backed up by a manufacturer with integrity, then you've found it.

Due to cost, I almost didn't buy it but I love the durability of a copper bottle and no worries about BPA's, microplastics, etc like you would have with a plastic bottle. It has taken a few drops and dented but no issue with the functionality of the bottle. My only concern, and why 4 and not 5 stars, is that even with the plastic ring provided the bottle leaks so you have to be careful that it is upright at all times. I had to buy a bottle bag that was tall enough to enclose it because it leaked all over my gym bag, my purse, etc. I tighten it to the point that it can be difficult to open so I don't feel like its a user error situation.

This is the best way to keep your water, this used to be the healthiest traditional way for water storage. The right way is to keep it in these bottles 1 day before you drink it to let the water absorve the good qualities and vibes from your living space. So it would be wise to have 6 bottles if you drink 3 lt per day. After all we are made mostly of water and nothing is more precious than water.

Looks amazing and will have people talking! The water taste amazing (especially if you fill and leave for a while.) Great value to upgrade to. Heavier than 'plastic' yet the health benefits out weigh this. Would recommend to anyone.
