Installed these on a Grote Jazz guitar that had cheap tuners and would not hold tune at all.These tuners fit exactly and now the guitar holds tune perfectly.I think this style of tuner really matches the look of the guitar.These tuners are very smooth and are what you'd expect from a good quality tuner.

I heard these were good tuner replacements on cheaper guitars. I liked the white P4N buttons. The first set I bought had two bad tuners. One stripped completely and one with too much backlash. I replaced them with a second set and found one with backlash as well. You have to fight them to get to tune. They seem to stay in tune but were no better than the original Grote tuners. They are pretty and look good on my guitar but I would never buy them again. Spend the money and buy Grovers. Also, Wilkinson makes a better tuner than Gotoh.
