Better than expected
30 plus years ago I trained hard as a bodybuilder. So full of testosterone we weren't concerned about injury. Now at 59, still working as self employed and training as well, prefer to prevent injury. I was beginning to have discomfort in my elbow and wrists from heavier lifting. One of the bodybuilders I follow on the internet spoke highly of another brand of elbow support, but I wasn't convinced that an $80 support was necessary, so I gave these a try figuring Amazon is reasonable about returns. I measured for size from their website, ordered accordingly. Gymreapers responded with a very nice email. The order included 2 elbow supports and 2 wrist supports. The quality seemed impressive, the stitching, material and plenty of Velcro on the wrist straps. The elbow supports fit me fairly snug, comfortably snug. They made my skin slightly itchy, not bothersome itchy. They did not move, or slide down my arm, nor inhibit movement during each one hour workout. The wrist supports worked great, plenty of support, enough that I did not have any concern doing the heavy work. really like the logo as well. Most likely, like many others, experiences are not always positive ordering on line. Gymreapers contacted me upon placing the order, and after receiving the order expressing their interest in making sure everything was satisfactory. My personal experience, along with the warm fuzzy feeling of a company that seems to actually care, is a product that is well designed, functional, well made and priced fairly. At this point I am very satisfied with the supports, and the outreach from Gymreapers. I am not affiliated with this company, nor received any percs, just a consumer that likes to buy reasonable quality for my hard earned money. On a rare occasion a product exceeds expectation, this one did just that.

Great support for aging joints โ and outstanding customer service
As I got into my midโ50s, I noticed joint pain starting to limit how much I could lift. I picked up these Gymreapers Elbow Sleeves hoping for a little extra support, and they made a huge difference right away. The compression and stability let me train the way I want without the usual joint discomfort. One of my original sleeves (size Large) eventually tore at the seam, but the customer service team handled it better than I expected. They responded quickly, honored the warranty, and helped me size up to an XL โ honestly because the sleeves worked so well my biceps grew and the Large became too tight. Great product, even better support behind it. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to keep lifting strong as they get older.

Great gym pick up.
Be sure to check diagram for the proper size and measure your elbow. Guys perfect and very durable. Comfortable and honestly, the compression is great for workouts.

Decent for the price, but absolutely not comparable to SBDs
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the mainstream brands when I started looking at these GymReapers sleeves. They're quite a bit thinner than the SBDs I had previously, but they keep my elbows warm and provide a bit of support. The sizing was good, and they fit snugly on my arms without moving around during my workout. On the upside, I'm able to keep them on through multiple giant sets that include both pressing and pulling movements. The downside of that is that they don't provide anywhere near as much support on the pressing end. If you're looking for a less expensive alternative and are okay with them having less compression and support, these are a decent option. If you're going to compete in strongman and need something to help maximize your log press, these probably ain't it.

Good Joint and Customer Support
I also have Gymreapers elbow wraps. The wraps provide a little more support but they slip and have to be rewrapped multiple times. These were my first pair of neoprene sleeves and they seem to run small, or maybe they're supposed to be hard to pull on. At any rate one of mine tore after around 25 workouts. They also have to be washed after every workout unless you really value your personal space at the gym. Gymreapers inspected the photographs I sent them and issued me a gift certificate for a new pair so I'm only out taxes and shipping, which seems fair to me. I might use an old scuba diver's trick and slide them on with hair conditioner in the future.

Elbow Sleeves Are As Essential As A Car Seatbelt...
I've been lifting for over 50 years and compete in Powerlifting (USAPL). I wish I had always used these sleeves. I suffered a detached triceps last year. After surgery and rehab, I began using them to provide support and comfort, keeping my elbows warm for an entire "pushing" workout (Chest, Shoulders, Triceps). I'm already at 90+% of my pre-injury Bench Press only 14 months 'Post-Op'. I highly recommend these elbow sleeves and believe they can help to avoid injury! They have also proven to be quite durable, too!

gets the job done at a good value!
I have purchased many elbow braces over the years and unfortunately have lost many over the years (leaving them at the gym). I typically spend $30-40 on a good set of braces but this time I needed to get wrist wraps too as my last pair had simply given up the ghost through years of use. I read the good reviews and realized these braces are for weightlifters (not meant for use on the tennis court, lol). There are so many of these types of things for sale on Amazon, I never really know for sure what to get but since I needed wrist wraps too this was a no brainer. Wrist wraps: good heavy duty wraps that are long enough but not too long to feel cumbersome. They keep your wrist supported during pushing exercises and curls (really the main movements that affect your wrists). So they passed the test. Elbow Braces: they give your elbows the support they need especially during heavy pressing movements and movements that typically hurt your elbows such as push downs and skull crushers. I have bought many braces before that simply aren't long enough to provide the full support I feel like I need and these are plenty long enough to get the job done. The fabric also feels substantial and tight enough to provide support. I see complaints on here about the braces being too tight but that is really the whole purpose (compression and support) without cutting off your circulation. I got the XXL and they are tight where they are supposed to be (just like they should be). So these are a winner for me and at the price a nice alternative to many of the more expensive elbow braces out there. Overall: So they both (wrist wraps and elbow braces) passed the test for me and are at a really good value. They do have a "new" smell to them out of the package but that goes away with one wash (yes you meatheads, you should definitely wash your weightlifting gear). They appear to be plenty durable and if that changes, I will update my post. This was the first time I bought this brand and it was a nice surprise.
