A good RV trailer tire.
EDIT: 7/28/21I liked these tires so much, I bought another set. Last week we drove the Dalton Hwy to Deadhorse, Alaska. Basically a 500 mile mostly dirt road north of Fairbanks. Within 120 miles of Deadhorse, we broke two leaf springs on the RV, and had to turn around. But the Carlisle tires never missed a beat, never had any flats, and after well over 20,000 miles they were a bit beat up, and it was time to replace them.-------------------------------------------------------------------Original post:I bought these tires for our RV TT this spring for what became a 14,500 mile trip from Alaska our home, Washington, California, Arizona, Florida, Missouri, back to Washington, then back home. While we were pretty beat up, these tires were not. The ride was very nice, not bouncy, coupled with a good WDH, was extremely stable, even with a stiff crosswind. Zero sway on our 21 foot camp trailer.Alaska isn't the king of bad roads, and everytime I hit a pothole or other road hazard, I was glad to have a D rated tire. The wear was very good and I still have many, many miles left.Though these are the same size as previous tires in load C range, they stood a little taller requiring me to adjust up on my hitch, it was a bit nose down.Otherwise I have no complaint.

One of these things is not like the others
Beautiful Tire! Bravo Zulu to Amazon for getting them here in enough time for me to change them out before the weekend. However, three were manufactured on the 48th week of 2017 according to the date stamp (4817) and must have been stored in a nearby warehouse because they came by UPS Ground. The one that Amazon had to fly in to meet the date requirement for the Prime delivery had a manufacture date stamp of 0118. I'm not too concerned that the first three are a month older, but that only the newer tire had a weight marker on it (yellow paint dot on the sidewall in the picture). For those who don't know, this little speck of paint on the tire is the lightest point on the tire; therefore, when the tire is mounted on the rims, this marker should indicates where the valve stem on the rim/wheel is to be placed for a better balancing of the tire. Since these tires are "now" made in China, my hope is they figured it out a month later. Worst case scenario is that the first three are not actually 'M' speed rated tires (no un-engineered shape defamation at or below 81 mph). For now, I'm going to mount all the tires in a similar position on the rims. I plan to use balancing beads anyway since I'm mounting them myself. So, if you don't hear anything from me about these over the next few months, they worked out great. If you do, well you'll know because you'll be able to read my gripe.

Excellent Value for the price, durable as advertised.
I Replaced my 🤬OEM China poppers with these Carlilse Radial Trail HD's😎. I have put 1500 Rough Alaskan miles on the Travel Trailer without a worry or any sign of wear. This includes Gravel roads; broken pavement; debris and potholes that would shred normal tires. I expect to get at least 5+ years at this rate without a worry. The ride is smooth and pressures are holding consistent. Life is good,I Love them.I'm old school and maximize my investment (Cheap🙄). I ran the first two nerve racking years😬 pulling the Travel Trailer on the China Poppers, checking the Air Pressure and bearing temperature (Laser Tool) every 50 miles or every pullout as i can't see the tires on my right side unless i make a slow sharp right hand turn (impracticable) especially at night. I parked the Travel Trailer at years end thinking i could get some more miles out of the tires. To my suprise over the winter two of my poppers earned their nickname and popped the belting after moving 30ft, lucky i made it home😧. My search began for replacements. I spent days reading reviews that kept leading me back to the Carlisle Radial Trail HD's. No more questionable tires for me. Build from the foundation up.🤔Since purchasing my new Carlisle tires i invested in a inexpensive Wireless TPMS system that does Pressure and Temperature and placed it on the dash. This and my new tires has my stress level down from 90% to 20% or less😃. While traveling i glance at it about every 2 minutes but still visually check my tires every stop up to 250 miles. With Temperature i get indications of any bearing heating translated thru the rims into the tire air.Now camping is a pleasurable journey, not a nerve racking trip. I've even let the wife drive, her first time pulling.....80% if you get my drift😳. She did excellent.😇Never would have happened on the China Poppers.☠

This seems to be the best deal by far
I have been researching tires for my tandem axle trailer (7'x16' enclosed) for over a year now. This seems to be the best deal by far. I need this tire for the high temp rating, low friction, high speed, and 8 ply rating to haul motorcycles across the desert from L.A. to Dallas at max load. $53 each. I got them today and the date of manufacture is only 4.5 months old. This appears to be the super deal that I have been searching for. Outstanding!!!! ......I am editing my post. I just returned from my travels from Los Angeles to Houston and Dallas around trip. I traveled 70mph in record breaking heat. (118 degrees in Arizona). 4k mile trip. Tires held up great. No problems at all and no visible wear. 6000 pounds.

CARLISLE D RATED TIRE - AWESOME
After axle trailer failure towing 6000 LB boat and being stranded for hours, I learned maintenance is everything. After my repair, of axle and purchase of new C rated tires all around, I tagged a curb and blew my new tire. Bought 4 of the D rated here on Amazon for 32% less than I paid for C rated at a store. These are 8 ply, rather than 6 and you can clearly see how robust they are. They also carry a little more weight and are filled to 65 psi rater than 55 psi. Equates to better fuel mileage and safer travels. Quick shipping and DOT codes were week 32 2018, so less than 1 year old. Very happy.

MADE IN CHINA
Carlisle use to be one of the best, had them on my boat trailer for years and are still good. Only reason for replacing them was that I wanted radials instead of bias ply. After I received them I saw on the sidewall ''made in china''. Was I shocked, Chinese tires can not be trusted, the testing is inadequate. I was pissed. I am using them taking the chance. Carlisle should be ashamed for NOT having them made here. If I have an issue with these tires I will let people know and I will never purchase a Carlisle tire again.

Solid & well made tires.
These are solid tires, a huge improvement over the previous 6 ply tires that I had on my trailer. The sidewall is think, and appears durable. The service from the seller is top notch, which is an added bonus. I will buy more of these in the future. Will write a subsequent, long term review.
