Pros:- easy to set up- comes with a carrying bag- blocks the sun (does its job)- lightweightCons:- screw for anchoring into the sand has pretty small teeth compared to more expensive umbrellas. The coastal winds blew it out of the sand so we had to re-anchor a few times. Not a deal breaker though.- plastic parts may break or warp long term.

I am a professional guitarist /vocalist who performs outdoors most often and do not always have shade to protect me. This umbrella does the job. It replaces my broken one of another brand. Versatile in positioning, big - good coverage, pretty sturdy in the wind as umbrellas go. I use it with my very heavy retaining stand. If you are not at the beach, you will need a heavy retaining stand or something to hold it. Easy to fold up and put in the protective bag.

Great for the sand. Not so sturdy in the grass, but overall a good product.

I’m not very handy with things- but found this beach umbrella very easy to set up in the sand since it has a twisty design at the bottom of pole and a metal bar to help you rotate/twist it deep enough in the sand (plus there is a little marker on the bottom of pole that lets you know how far to twist it down to be safe from blowing away). It stayed put for the 5 hrs we were on the beach with moderate winds. So far, so good- plus I scored it when it was on sale for only $30 something bucks!

Easy to set up. Easy to pack. Easy to carry. Took a family vacation beach trip of 7… I purchased 2 umbrellas and they provide enough shade for my entire crew. Worth the money!

Sturdy and great colors, I am satisfied!

Next time we’ll spend a little more and get a better quality item. This one broke about 20min after opening it up. The little toggle mechanism that controls the tilt and opening/closing broke and prevented us from either completely opening or closing the umbrella. So we were stuck on the beach with a partially opened umbrella. Husband had to squash it and force it closed, further breaking it just so we could trash it probably. Complete waste of money.

When the wind is more then ten miles an hour keep your eyes on it because it will get pulled out of the sand and blow away.
