So. Darn. Tasty.
I kind of hate leaving a positive review because I don’t want the price to go up!This stuff is amazing for sipping in the evenings when you want something decaf, but bolder than a cup of herbal tea. It has a rich chocolatey flavor with a texture more akin to tea than cocoa. Brewing takes about 10 minutes and needs to be done in a press-style coffee maker (Aeropress/French press) for best results—I once tried putting it through a drip machine and was super disappointed because it was a total waste. If I’m feeling fancy, sometimes I’ll add a shot of Irish crème or just some cream and stevia. It’s also amazing to ice down leftovers and stir them in with cold brew coffee for a mocha. If you’re a coffee and/or tea snob, you really need to try this. It really is spectacular!

Thank you for the Opportunity
This was a different experience. I do not own a coffee pot only an espresso machine, and my wife refused to allow me to use this in the espresso machine. A friend if mine got a new espresso machine and gave me her old one to use my not coffee not hot cocoa experience drink in. Well the first time I used it, I had no idea how to use this concoction or the single drink espresso machine. The water heated up and flowed the powdery substance, and the chocolate aroma attacked my bostrils with the force of a nonforgiving semi truck. I, being generous wanted to share the experience and gave the first liquid not coffee not hot cocoa drink ro a friend who responded, "It's bitter hot chocolate. It needs milk and sugar." Then poured his espresso into milk and sugar and drank a miniscule amount wasting this precious mixture, milk, and sugar while I tried to work the espresso machine I had no idea how to use. When I tried to depressurize the machine that I didn't know was pressurized, I removed the handle espresso bean holder filled with the just used cocoa mix. I had difficulty turning it: it had a safety lock when under pressure that I may have broke trying to unlock. I got the handle to the completely u lock position, and the cocoa mix was so excited for me to finally use it and the machine that it rejoiced by exploding all over the kitchen. Objects under pressure will explode when the pressure is not released slowly. That cocoa fumigation and powder attacked my kitchen, my nose, and being as cocoa is bad for dogs, and dogs become extremely excited to eat anything the are not supposed to, especially strong odored items. My dogs ran to help me clean the kitchen by eating up any evidence of my horrific failure they could get to. This was a speedy family affair to corral 50 pound puppy and two 15 pound dogs before they could commit overjoyous suicide by cocoa. I had the hot powder in my hair, on my face, in my nose, on my clothes, and all my kitchen. The entire household was included in this experience; I told you I was generous. After cleaning up the kitchen, I braved pouring me a cup. I chose to purchase the bold blend for my first experience and proved to be bold in experimenting. To be noted if you suffer from being sensitive to heartaches and migraines, making this drink in a single use pressurized espresso machine could trigger one due to the powerful aroma of one thousand 99% chocolate bars. I made three cups of this drink following the first disaster using less of the mixture each time. While I enjoyed the not hot chocolate drink that made me want hot chocolate, my nostrils did not and informed by giving me a migraine the first time and a headache each following attempt. Thank you for experience, I guess I am not a cocoa connoisseur. I will stick with water as I in my aging years am not supposed lay off esspresso and coffee. And it doesn't make you poop like esspresso does.

Dark “chocolate?”
Definitely dark and strong. I like that part of it, but I can’t taste chocolate. It didn’t taste like coffee but I just couldn’t pick out the chocolate in the flavor.

Tastes like burnt, smoky rubber
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE all the other Crio Bru products - they taste rich and Chocolatey (not like hot cocoa, but in a different, unique way.) I assumed that "UBER chocolate" would mean just MORE delightful chocolate, but this is horrible. It tastes like watery, smoky, burnt rubber. Maybe I got a bad batch, but it's back to their Double Chocolate product for me.THIS stuff is undrinkable. :(

Crio cacao
I made it on a stove top espresso maker. It tastes like a light hot chocolate although I did add milk and stevia

Delicious!!
I make this hot and cold. It tastes so good with a little MCT oil and sweetener of you choice. I also like it with a scoop of protein powder in it.
