Solar Combiner Box, Briidea PV Combiner Box 4 String with 10A Circuit Breakers & Lightning Arreste for Solar Panels, IP 65 Waterproof

Breaker kept tripping at anything over 30A. Took a little while to get a reply from seller ( 30 days was past) but I had a complete new unit in 5 days. No hassle, no bs, no return of box. Working exactly as it should now. Great seller!!

When I first opened the box I was impressed with case and quality of fuse holders and circuit breakers.Before I installed I noticed a PV negative wire that was not in the Buss bar. I installed it properly, then checked the torque on all the fasteners. Nearly all the black wires were not secure. I tightened the all.Seems to work good now except for black wire to surge was routed in front of the surge supressor.. (black wire on right in attached photo). Unless I push it in and press door tightly latches won't clip. I'm sure I could probably remove the surge supressor and reroute black wire as shown in amazon images of unit but that will be another day. For now it is working well.Another minor nit is the PV connectors on the box are very close togather. Really hard to remove a PV wire once it is installed. This is common with similar items but I wish they gave us a little more room.

I was shipped a unit that had a broken spd rail clip and a crooked bus bar(not a big deal) when I reached out to the seller they immediately sent me a whole new unit that had a good spd and a straight bus bar(not that I commented about the bus bar) so far the unit is working great. The fuse/breakers are labeled as 20amp with 10amp fuses inside. The cable guard would probably have to be upgraded if you wanted to use 20amp fuses as well as the 63a breaker (4x20a=80a=tripped 63a) Overall very happy with the seller and how fast they resolved the issue. Some of today's Amazon sellers won't even respond until you've sent more than one message.

I really liked the quality of the internal parts. I liked the unit so much that I have 4 of them for my solar array.

Product arrived with a broken hinge, exposing the top pin and compromising the weatherproofing of the box. Additionally, the included mounting hardware is lodged throughout the inside of the box and the components are loosely attached to the din rail.I may be able to use the components still but it will take some tinkering, which totally defeats the purpose of buying this box. Do more research before you buy...

Great product simple installation my only concern is my polarities were labeled incorrectly on the on off switch. The on off positive and negative were backwards although on the inside of the door it is labeled correctly

item works as described! Only con is door is a little quirky trying to close at times.

Have not installed, still building solar mount system.
