Do you NEED a key fob cover? No, likely not. But it's just one of those simple joys in life and for less than $20, who would you be to deprive yourself of that?I've been really happy with the cover for the past week; the buttons are still easy to click through the rubberized skin and my keyless entry feature doesn't seem to be impacted by the cover. The ring hardware was easy to install on the key and feels secure. No gemstones were missing either.One thing worth mentioning is that the VW Atlas key has the panic button on the side of the key, but this cover doesn't have a place carved out for that button, so you will NOT be able to access the panic button if you use this cover. I tried to push it through the plastic but the sides of the cover are too thick to engage the button. My car has keyless entry, so I usually have my car key stuffed in my purse and have never needed to use my panic button (fortunately), so this lack of access didn't make a difference to me, but if you find comfort in having the panic button accessible, this case wouldn't work for you.

I used this key fob cover to create a specific fall look and I’m VERY happy with the results!! This white and gold looks lovely and I’ll probably end up getting other colors.The ONLY thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is that I can’t feel whether I’m actually pushing the buttons. But it DOES work!

Stylish and durable. My characters were peeling away so having to remind others which was the lock and unlock was tiresome. But be prepared to really push down on the key fob because it is very thick.
