A valuable tool
Leaving this review on behalf of my fiance. I got these for her for Christmas, because she makes amazing charcoal drawings, mostly portraits. She asked for charcoal sticks without going into detail. I chose these because they offer a range of hardness, from light to dark. I always do a LOT of research before I purchase anything, so I was confident that these would be the ticket. It used to take her a long time to shade in a large dark area. She says that these charcoal blocks make it an absolute breeze. She couldn't be happier with them. So, if you're a charcoal artist who has only used pencils and vines, or if you have a lovely charcoal artist in your life, you can't go wrong with these.

No medium tint charcoal blocks in blister pack. Possibly manufacturer's error in packaging.
Not sure why there were no medium tint charcoal blocks as advertised. There were 4 light tint and 2 dark tint ones inside the blister pack.

Stick shaped Gray Rocks
Says charcoal on the package but it's nothing more than a gray rock shaped like a stick. It's not even close to black. Seriously, if you are thinking of doing some serious charcoal artwork don't bother.

Got what was displayed
Item was delivered in good condition. But it's way too smaller than I expected. They are at 5 cmx1 cm x1 cm sticks. May not last long
