I purchased these to replace the black, cheaply made latch clips that come standard on most of the aftermarket motorcycle items that break too early. These are sturdy and should last a lot longer than the stock ones plus they look better in chrome.

Look great, finish seems legit. They do feel very light and I am not sure if that will make a difference in their longevity.However, I ordered two sets and something is consistent between the two sets. 1) Latch release is very sloppy, 2) Thumb-release feature is really useless as the release binds and you must push up like you would the OEM ones.I included two pictures in my review. The first one I am applying maximum thumb pressure and the latch does not budge because of the binding. In the second, I am pushing from the bottom (OEM -style) and it moves.

Just what I wanted...an excellent alternative to the HD prices for the same benefit!
