Renewed my Dyson UP16 to like new condition
I started getting an odor from my Dyson that smelled like an electric motor issue. I took the brush head apart and cleaned the rollers and also cleaned the filter inside the ball, but it didn't help. I started to look into changing the brushes in the brush head motor when I saw this replacement brush head. This was a quick and easy repair that fit perfectly and took care of all issues. I had not realized how much the old brush head degraded after many years of use. The new brush head glides across the carpet, greatly reducing the effort to push the machine. It also seems to pick up more dirt than before. So an all around success with this genuine Dyson replacement part at a very reasonable price.

Easy fix to smelling Machine
Fixed the issue: my vacuum was smelling like burning hair or burning plastic. It would also turn on and the brush would work for a minute then the brush would stop working. Changing out the head resolved all issues. Works like new!!

If you’re thinking you need this you’re probably right
After smelling a hot burning type odor I did some research and found that the belt in the roller may be the cause. I almost bought the roller and not the entire head but decided to spend a few more dollars and just get the whole head. I am so glad I did. No messing with assembly. Just snap the old one off and snap the new one on. What’s even better is my vacuum picks up like it’s new. I’m not exaggerating! I vacuum daily because we have several German shedders for roommates. This thing picks up their hair as good as it did the day I bought it. I didn’t realize how poorly it was functioning until I put this on. Get this!

Better than the Original
After my previous Dyson vacuum head stopped working I needed a replacement before shelling out for a new vacuum. This one fits perfectly and has more power than the original. I am happy with how well it cleans, the brush speed, and that it doesn't make more noise than the original. It was well worth my money.
