Works GREAT and perfect under long tents that are on smooth, grassy areas. We used it under our 20' by 10' tent in the desert and it worked well, protecting our tent floor from rocks and objects that we could not remove from the hard ground (no grass, just bare desert ground). It had a few tears when we were done, however, they did NOT go through the green section (the reverse side). Very durable for our needs and true to its large measurements. 5 months later, after several uses and washings, it is still VERY strong. May purchase another one for the top (to protect from rain). - You will need the STRONG METAL PEGS, not any cheap plastic ones. This tarp is NOT lightweight. - When using under a tent, roll up the edges so that rain water doesn't just "sit" on the tarp

No, I don't know exactly what a "mil" is. Though I've shopped enough plastics to have some general idea. Scanning through the listing it is noted to be "approx 7 mil". Without being an expert I'd say that's a bit generous. It's VERY thin and prone to tears. The listing also states, various times, how heavy duty, tight woven, "high strength" it is, yet I can more or less see sunlight through the weave and could tell you the slightest rough edged object can easily tear it. That said, it is HUGE (true to size), and definitely light weight if that's something you're looking for. It worked for my application, though I had to CAREFULLY pull it into place over my leaky carport. We'll see how it holds up against the elements. I wouldn't expect it to be leak-proof against standing water and don't suspect it'll last longer than a year exposed to direct sunlight but that's just my opinion. Going on 5 months into winter and it's holding up so far. If I have any big revelations as to it's longevity, I'll update.

exactly what we expected

Installed the tarp 06/18/2025 as a cover for a 14' Aluminum Boat. The tarp was completely destroyed by 08/31/2025. The boat sits on the north side of the house and only gets about 8 hours of sun per day; however, this area of Colorado is constantly windy. The combination of Colorado summer sun and wind does not work with this tarp. In the past I have used these tarps during the winter. For that application they lasted about 7 months which I didn't think was too bad with the snow and wind. I will not be buying again for summer use.

It fit perfectly..attached to the crosspipe 6" up from the bottom edge so you can make a great waterproof joint cause it hangs over the side walls..drawstring along the peaked ends to help snug things up..tiedowns about 2' apart..better than the original and tan color is well worth the extra bucks

Purchased for covering our deck furniture frames. We take our cushions off and store them inside, but this is great for covering the furniture frames. Very well made.
