I purchased two, one for my 2 year old grandson and one for my nephew. They absolutely enjoy it! This item comes with several packs of cards with different categories (I.e. people, animals, fruits, etc.) to identify and a charger. The cards are easy for my Grandson to remove and put in. The sound is also clear when naming the item on the card. Recently, my grandson pointed out and said “A” on a random sign!!! It’s a fun change from using tablets and cell phones and will keep your little one entertained while learning! Definitely worth the buy!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This flash card game is definitely a great educational tool! This item was purchased as gift for our nephew and he absolutely loves it! Not only does it keep him occupied and entertained, we often find him using the flash cards independently, and repeating back the words. Thank you!

Bought this for my nephews 3rd birthday and he loves it! Bonus, it had battery power (included charging cord) right when he opened the box and was able to immediately start playing with it, as all kids do! Cards seemed durable if treated with care, machine itself is super durable.

I have a two year old, and bought this for him to work on his language skills. He has been repeating after some other toys that says colors, so i wanted to introduce a toy that could be interactive with him to learn some more words.Pros:• my son loves this toy! He is very independent and insisted on putting the cards in himself, that being said look to con bulletpoint one• easy to store for car rides or diaper bag• comes with a variety of cards• for 10 bucks i think this is a great tool for kiddos to learn some wordsCons:• I wish the cards were a bit more durable. My toddler has a bad case of manhandling as I call it. However, the cards do seem to be holding up, just not sure how long they will hold up• I wish the volume button was maybe a little hidden from the actual use of the toy. My 2 year old wants to hit both buttons, and always manages to get it on the highest volume setting.Happy with purchase!

This has been an Amazing addition for my 14 month old twins to learn words! Very easy to use and the twins love it! They recognize words and pictures very fast ! I highly recommend this to be purchased for your kiddos!

The reader itself is fine and came with some charge, so we were immediately able to use it. My 16mo enjoyed putting the cards in and hearing the words and could keep him entertained for a while, although you can only insert 1 card at a time, which is not ideal for an excited toddler.However, when the cards arrived, a number of them were stuck together. When they were pulled apart, some of the printing came off, including the barcodes, making the cards look damaged/well used. When inserted into the reader, it doesn't recognize the damaged card as being present, so that word can now never be read and it makes me wonder about the long-term disability of the cards.

My 15 month old is loving this! Some of the noises for the animals or cars kinda don’t make sense but for the most part it’s awesome!
