I know the right way is with a finger. I tried, I really did, and it looked terrible. So I tried this instead. I discovered the standalone blue tools are my favorite of the bunch, work well and are easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The remover/Scraper work... okay, but for removing silicone you still really need to use a utility knife first. Not a big fan of the usability of the shapers on the larger handle, they dont fit well where you dont have a perfect 90 degree angle to work with on the surfaces. For the price, no real complaints. Quality of construction is well in line with the price.

Bought this to use while stripping/re-caulking our bathroom tub/shower. Unfortunately it proved to be a little useless for the project. Perhaps that is due to the slightly abnormal structure of our tub. But while both stripping the caulk and smoothing the newly placed fresh caulk the tool didn’t quite fit with the grooves. The tool itself feels relatively well made, it could be useful to others! Unfortunately for my experience it didn’t help.

I bought this to caulk around a bathtub. It did not remove the old caulking, and it was no help in spreading the new caulk. Their video shows caulk being applied Lickety split. Well, that doesn't happen. The tool can only spread a small section of caulk and then it starts to overflow off the tool. There's no way that you could do the length of a bathtub in one swoop. I ended up wetting my finger and smoothing it out the old-fashioned way. Don't waste money on this, your finger works better.

It essentially works as advertised. It does not do quite as good of a job as I would like in removing old caulking. With that being said, I do not know of any tool better than it.

metal scraper scars wood sills better than removing the old caulk. plastic scraper sort of works but edge wears down too fast. Ended up using my metal gasket scrapper-far better results!!
