Sealy Response Performance 13-Inch Plush Pillow Top Mattress, Queen

I have a swayed back and lots of lower back pain because of it, but since getting this firm mattress and sleeping on it the last month I've noticed a significant decrease in both my back pain AND headaches. I'm feeling more rested with less sleep and overall just sleeping so much better. ByeBye sleeping pills and groggy mornings! Writing this almost exactly a month after receiving it I am able to see how quickly this mattress has improved my overall health and ability to sleep well and reduce the melatonin I was taking and pain pills by half or more!

This is absolutely the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. We had bought a new bedroom set about 3 years ago complete with mattress. That mattress was poor quality and way over priced. I have had the mattress two months by now and sleep really well on it and my husband also loves it. We wake up knowing we have slept very well. I have never taken so many naps in my life as I did the first two weeks we had the mattress.

I'm glad I made the upgrade. The delivery service was spot on. With the word plush in the title I was a little worried that the mattress would be to firm for a side sleeper but it is actually a little firmer than I expected which is great. Very comfortable and gives wonderful support for the old back. I just measured and it is only 11.5 inches instead of 13 inches so now it being a little firmer makes sense. This was not a bed in a box so it doesn't need time to expand from what I can find on the internet. With the payment plan and great delivery I am still happy though. Just not sure where the other 1.5 inches went lol2 weeks later...Saying a mattress is hard is rather subjective but as a side sleeper let me say that I have had constant back pain after sleeping on this mattress. Either I did not get the plush mattress that I ordered or someone lied in the description. I purchased a mattress pad today and will be trying it out tonight. If this doesn't help I will be looking into returning this mattress even though they hauled away my old one. Thankfully it's only $399 broken up into payments because if I had spent more than that I would be livid. Already not happy but at least I am not livid..... YET!Update...I bought a 1.5 inch memory foam pad and added to the mattress. Holy cow did it make a difference. For the past week I have slept like a baby and actually look forward to going to bed for the first time in years. With this addition to the mattress it turned into a dream product that more than meets my expectations of what a comfortable nights sleep should be.. Now I am over the moon with this product and can confidently say I recommend it to others provided they are ready to make modifications to suit their needs. Still not sure where the extra 1.5 inches went but you can't have everything in life..

I purchased the 2017 model: Firm. I sleep so well on this mattress. It’s not too firm and not to soft. It took about 2 months to ship. The delivery people contacted me to let me know the best day to deliver and called me when they were outside my apartment. It comes boxed up and wrapped in plastic and in pristine condition.

Im psyched that Amazon is now shipping mattresses. I hate mattress shopping/returning and exchanging. This was shipped quickly and right to my door. It came in a big cardboard box, and inside the mattress was encased in the thick plastic bag I am used to seeing with mattresses. The delivery was so convenient, Amazon lets you pick a time frame and I was able to select a time frame that did not require me to take time off of work as I have had to do with other furniture/mattress deliveries in the past. The amazon delivery folks were very helpful, they dropped it at my door. They were prepared to sit it just inside but I had a bunch of stuff I did not want to move so I asked them to leave it right at the door and I brought it in. They delivered this thing at 7 am, they were all smiles and just so efficient and polite and honestly those delivery drivers and the return policy are absolutely why I will start looking here first any time I need a new mattress.That said, this is a basic mattress, Its not super plush or anything but its not too firm. For my liking it is a little more firm than I would chose but I am keeping it regardless because I can put it in a guest room if I cannot settle in to it. I was ill the first weekend after setting this up and spent all weekend in bed and the bed was too firm for that so I began to have muscle aches. In short, this is advertised as a "medium" feel, between firm and plush, but I would say that it tends to the firm side. For comparison, I am 40 yo female, about 5'3", about 135lbs and I do suffer from upper spinal/neck issues that will manifest in muscle cramps on a firm bed. I hope that gives you some way to compare my experience to yours.In short, I don't feel strongly one way or the other about this particular mattress. It is not the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on but it is just comfortable enough that I don't want to exchange it and I will eventually replace it and move it to a guest bedroom because I think it will be just fine for folks spending only a few nights a time on it. It is a good mattress on a budget.Also, Amazon wants me to assign a star level for the "stretch" of this mattress. I am not sure what that means so I am leaving that blank.

The mattress was great for the first 18 months. Then we started to see a dip where we slept. we rotated the mattress and soon the dip became a channel. We contacted Sealy who gave us the run around claiming they did not get pictures and due to a coffee stain, denied the claim. I had them reopen the claim since a small stain would not cause the mattress to fail. In the fall they finally sent out an inspector, who took measurements and filed a report. Months later and no response. If you have a problem do not expect any resolution from Sealy nor any help from Amazon. I purchased a product online that I would typically have bought in a store because of the reputation of Sealy and the protection from Amazon. That was a mistake I will learn from.
