D I S A P O I N T E D Going to get. Samsung Hub
I was really hesitant to buy this product. I thought I didn't need it. I finally was forced to buy it to functionalize my Schlage remote door lock. What a surprise! I connected it to most of my smart devices, including thermostat, Garage door opener, and the lights that came with the uit. Wink 2 was super easy to set up. I connected it directly to my router with the provided cables and it was very easy to connect devices and have them all in one place. Later, I connected my Alexa to the Wink, and now I have voice commands for many of my smart devices which is awesome. Some devices that won't currently connect to Wink are WEMO devices, which is a bit disappointing, however, the WEMOs do connect to Alexa. Still, its disappointing not to be able t connect everything to my central hub. Another minor complaint is that Wink will not, does no allow Alexa to control the MyQ garage door opener, so I cannot use voice command to open and close it unless I KLUDGE a fix. This appears to be an issue between Alexa and MyQ and their respective APIs. Still not cool fellas, why not fix this?I highly recommend this device to DIY smart home enthusiasts. It is awesome fun and works great.UPDATE - seems like Wink wants to charge $5 a month subscription now. This is an awful betrayal of trust for those of us who bought his product. I would like a refund as soon as possible. Terrible product. Do not buy this garbage from a garbage company.

Simple to set up and works great
I bought this at the same time as a Ring Doorbell Pro. The WINK works exactly as advertised/expected and I use it to control numerous GE Smart Dimmer light switches, outlets, and Led Bulbs. Note: the Ring DB Pro failed miserably and the connectivity is terrible rendering it barely usable.

Disappointed
I was fully ready to embrace having a smart home, however, I feel that the technology isn't there yet. I first purchased a Schlage lock with keypad and Z-Wave. My hope with a hub was that the lock would automatically unlock when I arrived home. I started with the SmartThings hub which should have worked, however, it was very inconsistent with sensing whether I was home or not. I returned it for the Wink, while the Wink interface is easier than SmartThings, the functionality is not any better.Issues:-Wink does not allow for unlocking automation because of safety concerns. Their concerns may be valid, mostly because of the device is not consistent when sensing if I'm home or away, however, this should be my decision.-The Wink rarely knows if I'm away or not. I use the Homesitter function for the lights, which is only supposed to function while I'm away. I'll be sitting in my living room and the lights turn on and off as if they have minds of their owns.-I would never trust the Wink to automatically lock the doors when I leave (which it allows). I can however lock the doors from afar, which I have not needed yet but could be handy.-The bulbs that came with the hub make a constant humming noise, even when turned off.Right now, the hub is a fancy on/off switch for the two humming lights that came with the package. I use it to tell Alexa to dim the lights etc. I would return the product if they allowed me to.

Wink - Great Product - Amazing Customer Service
Winks Smart Hub is well built and easy to use. I purchased the Wink bright which includes two Sylvania smart bulbs and software. The bulbs were easy to set up and had the system working in about 15 minutes. The lights can be set up to come on at specific times or randomly to give the impression of people at home. Bulbs are fully dimmable.I had a little issue getting a GE dimmable 3 way switch set to pair up. After trying several times I called Winks Customer Care Center. While the wait on the phone was a little long, when rep Dan answered, he was fully ready willing and able to help. He was patient and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He said it was his mission to make sure I was 100% happy with my Wink Hub. It took about 20 minutes to go through a number of steps to determine why the switch and hub were not pairing with each other. Dan had me place the hub in Wi-Fi mode and move it closer to the GE 3 way switch. Within minutes the devices were paired. He said I could then place the hub in my original location and plug it into my Ethernet cable. Everything has worked flawlessly since then. What really surprised me was that I received an e-mail from Dan, following up and providing me with a number to reach him if any other problems came up. Kudo's to Wink for caring so much about their customers and a big Thank You to Dan for his knowledge and willingness to help.

Very Laggy, not too impressed...
Very Laggy, not too impressed... Ended up returning it. Nice idea to have everything all in one app, however, it will go to that MFG's app for you to control it. Example, Ring...It opens up the ring app, why not just open it up yourself? However, if you want to control lights, it will do that...I found it to be laggy.

After Three Years and Hundreds of $s, WINK Wants $4.99/month to Keep My Lights On
I spent several hundred dollars on a Wink Hub and compatible smart bulbs. For the most part, the device worked okay, although the bulbs in my bedroom would constantly become unpaired and had to be reinstalled in the app. Today, I received an email from Wink stating that they are transitioning to a PAID subscription service and that I’ll now have to pay them $4.99/month to continue using the Wink Hub and smart bulbs that I purchased three years ago. All of my devices will be deactivated in 3 days unless I agree to this extortion. These were expensive products that I’d been using for three years. Now this company wants $60/year on top of their insane hardware prices just maintain the status quo. All of my Wink products are going in the garbage where they belong. For prospective buyers, run for the hills.

aceptable
no me gusto que esta un poco limitada la app para programar algunas otras marcas pero en general funciona bien con las que WINK promueve en su pagina
