Spigen for Nest Learning Thermostat 1-3 Gen Wall Plate

Exactly what I needed. The previous cover plate for the old thermostat left a large open mark from the paint job (apartment), and this cover plate completely concealed it. It also blends very nicely with the wall; it looks clean and attractive. Install took less than a minute and am very pleased with the result.

Easy to install, just use the hardware that comes with your nest. I think the black is the best one to get because it goes with any color the nest might come in. I have the black and stainless steel Nest and the black plate goes great with it, looks classy and I don't have to worry about color matching the steel like some previous reviews. Great price and Spigen is a great brand that I trust. I have the 3rd generation Learning Nest, and it fits perfectly! Highly recommend this product if you are looking to class up your thermostat and cover any unsightly holes from previous thermostat installs.

Better and shinier than what I was expecting.

When I bought this originally thinking it was made of stainless steel. When I received the trim kit it was made of plastic. It still looks good but hopefully the finish won't rub off While cleaning.

Works beautifully to cover the holes from the previous thermostat. Great match to the Nest. The cover is plastic, as mentioned by other reviewers; but that doesn't detract from the overall aesthetic. Very happy with the purchase.

This thermostat exceeded my expectations! I love that I can control the temperature from my phone. I live in a 2-story house & I can’t stand when the heat goes on forever when I’m trying to sleep. I reach for my phone and adjust the temp. I was really happy to find a plate in the box to cover up the hole in the wall from the previous thermostat. It’s nice to see the outside temps & hourly forecast on the display. Check w your electric or gas company for a rebate on your purchase. Nice bonus to offset the cost.

The good: It fits the 3rd gen learning thermostat like a glove. The shape and contours of this product compliment the nest thermostat. It looks great.. however.. The not so good: it is not a perfect color match. You have to look dead on and the light has to hit the nest spot on for both the Spigen wall plate and thermostat to match in color, otherwise it is quite obvious the colors do not match perfectly which makes sense it is not the same material ( at least for the steel version). Also, the metal back plate (base) is not included. It shows as included on the Spigen site but it was not included with the units sold in Amazon. With all that said I decided to keep it. Looks good overall, even if the color is not an exact match.

If Avoiding wall smudges is important to you, this is it! Protects the wall from marks, matches my wall paint, was easy to install, fully compatible with my Nest 3rd Gen Thermostats. Great value, and functions as advertised!

Looks great and super easy to install

This was a great addition to our smart thermostat install. With it we were able to hide the previous cutout from the old thermostat. Really modern looking and installation was super simple.
