Fantastic product, well worth the price
We purchased 2 of the Critter Concepts Large Dog Water Dispenser 6.5 Gallon and we think they are fantastic. They are well made, easy to assemble, easy to fill, and they hold plenty of water to last a long time. Also, the design reduces the amount of water our dogs used to spill on the floor. You won’t regret spending a little extra on this great product.

Very happy ---- I have the 6.5 gal. and the 5.0 gal. Critter Cooler and am very happy with them. excellent product!!
I just purchased the 6.5 gallon for my 3 pugs. I've been using the 5.0 gallon version for over 2 years now and couldn't be happier with this product.I still have not had to replace the O ring and have no problem getting the lid on and off (follow directions). Since all dogs dribble when they drink, I place a kitchen dish draining mat under the front wheels and this catches and soaks up most of any water that gets spilled. I plan to use the 5.0 gallon outside on my patio and will put the 6.5 gallon in the kitchen. I fill it up at the kitchen sink, using the spray hose which reaches perfectly to the water container, then easily wheel it back to its position in the corner of my kitchen. It seems to be expensive at first, but when you consider how many other types of bowls that are purchased that either don't work properly or break after a short time, the upfront expense is well worth getting a dependable and useable product that holds up over time. I highly recommend this product and the customer service has always been dependable too.

Have used these for years, something has changed
We have ordered 8 of these buckets over the past 5 years. They beat filling up individual bowls of water ANY DAY but lately there are issues that, when you are using them daily, start to add up.First is the front left wheel is constantly coming off every time you pickup the bucket. An annoyance I thought was due to just wear and tear but we just got a brand new bucket and right off the bat the wheel comes off when we pick the bucket up.At some point the plastic cracks, usually around the wheels and tray. We get about a year before this happens. The red knob will also break though thats an easy replacement and we keep on hand. Our latest bucket arrived with a hole in the top and a rubber stopper in it, I'm wondering if on purpose for more easy dumping? Not sure but, again, wondering about the ongoing reliability of the buckets.Would LOVE to see a stainless insert or bowl for better sanitation. Plastic is never the best option for dogs but we negotiate for the Critter buckets because of how much easier they make our job.Overall-this is still the best bet on the market but for $200 I expect them to last longer than they do. Keep in mind this is for a dog daycare so heavy, heavy use and daily changes.

Great company, awesome product!
I bought this a year ago and have 7 dogs! This makes my life easier. It's very sturdy with heavy duty wheels and easy to clean. I had a question for the company and they responded right away. They are a small business and very pleasant!

Lasted less than a year
I bought this ( 2 of them actually) last June. Worked great at first. They are both used inside house and away from elements. A few months ago they would intermittently start leaking. I contacted the company and they treated me like I was an idiot and didn’t know how to put the lid on. It had nothing to do with that as they worked fine for the first day or two and once the water level started to drop they would just start to leak everywhere out the spout. I changed the rubber seals, but that has not helped either. Completely not worth the money.

Perfect for multi-dog homes!
I love our Critter Concepts water dispenser! We have four large breed dogs and they go through the 6.5 gal dispenser in about 4-5 days. Beats filling up the old-fashioned "water cooler style" dispenser every other day. The dispenser is well-made and fairly easy to assemble. I say "fairly" because it does take a bit of finesse to get the valve assembly all lined up perfectly so there are no leaks. Love that the unit came with lots of extra o-rings because they do tend to wear out, especially when filling it with well water like we do. Would highly recommend this dispenser, whether you have one dog or a dozen!
