I was a bit shocked the first time I squeezed the bottle into my hand, as it came out green - and way too much came out. The green color didn't bother me, when I realized it was just the kelp. And I love the fruity/floral fragrance. This is definitely hydrating and smooth, but I'll probably keep it for the winter when my face is dryer. As I want an exfoliate in the summer to help remove my makeup, and this product definitely doesn't help with that. My biggest complaint is the terrible bottle/cap. Every time I squeezed the bottle to try to get a small amount out, WAY too much cleanser came out. It's unfortunate that they couldn't either use an thinner (easier to squeeze) bottle or a pump for more control. I feel like a lot of this product will go to waste.

This is a seemingly healthy chemical free facial cleanser that is very moisturizing and gentle on the face. It comes or cream from the bottle with not a strong smell which is good. It's always hard for me to switch and try a new system or soap on my face as at 37 I still get acne unless carefully controlled. I have oily and dry combination skin and this cleanser really does leave my face feeling moisturizer. I used it straight for two weeks and hoped that I wouldn't have to use any acne creams along with it as I usually do. Unfortunately after two weeks I just couldn't deal with all the deep pimples that were coming out on my face (I never get deep pimples- usually little ones on top) My dermatologist sister said if I'm getting those deep painful ones that something like an oil (which this does contain) is clogging my pores. So it seems I can't use this product solely but I do love how natural it is and moisturizing so I'm using it at night when I also apply my acne/zit cream. It seems to keep my face hydrated and I don't break out now from it. It is quite an expensive product so I don't know if I will continue after I run out. I do think it is worth a try because of the anti inflammatory and chemical free composition of this cleanser. I really wanted it to work for me but just doesn't seem to by itself. I do recommend it and maybe it would work for less complicated skin.

The cleanser itself is more of a gel that is seaweed green in color. Not my favorite color for a beauty product, but it smells really fresh and clean and I like the scent a lot. It lathers only a small amount which is OK, but I typically prefer a little more lather in my facial cleanser. It does a really good job of removing make-up and my skin felt very soft afterwards. It did not make my skin feel dry and rinsed off easily. I like that this cleanser is “cruelty-free” and “vegan-free”. I see absolutely no reason to use a beauty product that would harm animals in its manufacturing. This cleanser has a probiotic formula which is one of the better skin treatments so I am excited about that. Other than a less than attractive color and not the best foaming, I really like this product. It is very expensive for a daily cleanser, but a small amount goes does go a long way.Please Note: This product did NOT work well for another person in my household. They have more sensitive skin, and it burned profusely. I HIGHLY recommend you place a dab on your wrist first. . . and wait a few minutes. . . to make sure it’s not going to cause irritation.

My wife and I are both ecstatic over this facial cleanser and honestly this bottle is not going to last long between the two of us. Consistency wise, it's an off putting liquid green slime, but this stuff smells very natural, feels great on your face, and does a great job cleansing dirt and oil while also refreshing your skin. I like using it in a steamy shower after exfoliating and it leaves my cheeks and nose with a sort of squeaky feel that I would describe as extreme moisturization. Get this if you want to treat yourself to a really nice facial cleanser that is completely natural.

The water at the beach was bee warm and there were always green algae and other sea plants growing. This product smells like that sea! I confess I do not use anything on my face at night because I don't wear daily makeup and I don't have dry skin, but to review this product I used it to wash my face and it felt both "beachy" and moisturizing. My skin felt nice and soft the next morning as well.

It looks like liquid seaweed but it is a gentle and soothing cleanser. apply in a circular motion to damp skin and rinse. I liked the fragrance found it fresh and a bit citrusy. It was effective at removing makeup and dirt. My skin is sensitive and it felt and looked great afterwards. I experienced no irritation. My skin was clean but not taut or dry. Sometimes moisturizing cleansers leave your skin feeling coated but this just leaves the skin feeling fresh. I like the inclusion of natural ingredients that are 90% organic. Healthy is beautiful and this product delivers.

My first glance of the product inside the pretty blue and white bottle was a little shocking -- its greenish-gray color. Then I realized that it was mostly kelp, which also explained the rather unpleasant fragrance. I got used to both the color and the fragrance, but after using this cleanser for a couple of weeks I felt like my skin was not as smooth and the redness was more evident than with other products I have used. Others may find this more to their liking, but it's not for me.

I like this cleanser by Anjolie so far, the few times I've used it. It's a bit hard for me to get by the color and consistency but it does leave my face feeling smooth and moisturized after using it. It doesn't feel like it's cleansing while using it as it's creamy, and a bit slimy, even, but it does and my skin feels so soft when I'm finished.This is a bit pricey compared to some other brands but a little goes a long way, for what it's worth. I'm going to continue using this and will update my review if I have more to add.
