Around Heathrow Past & Present: Britain in Old Photographs

Sent this to an old friend of 64 years. We grew up in Hayes although we live miles apart now. She was delighted with the book, it bought back many good memories

Mostly interesting to me for information on the farms of Heathrow, where relatives of my maternal grandmother lived. I wonder if the date for the demolition of Cranford Hall (next to existing White Hart Inn, about no. 11 Bath Road) is correct. My great grandfather lived there.

For a local person it is a very interesting read

A lot of the photo's in this book bring back a lot of memories of my younger days.
