Shockingly good!
After taking a long road trip in my classic Porsche 944, I realized that the low end of my sound system was lacking. The car has the original blaupunkt stereo, putting out a whopping 20 watts. All four speakers have been replaced, but the factory radio didn't really have the oomph to power them. I scored a good deal on a 10-in passive dual voice coil Bazooka Tube off Marketplace, and set off to find an amp to power it. I didn't need anything crazy; the bazooka tube can't handle a ton of power, and I'm not 16 years old anymore. Like several other reviewers, I was surprised at the small size of the package that showed up at my door, as well as the lack of weight. I was skeptical, but I wired it up, using the amp output from the factory radio. Holy cow! This thing has more than enough grunt to push the sub. It's shocking given the small size and the low cost. My biggest struggle with it has been tuning it so it isn't overpowering - there's a *ton* of grunt in this little sub. Time will tell how reliable it ends up being, but I'm extremely pleased. I will buy from Taramps again!

Nice amp 400 real watts it's what most people need.
I'm not a bass head anymore so that's why I went with this amp and 2 10" Dual subs( from AutoZone) and sounds quite nice, more bass than I needed but I'm quite surprised at the size and power output( shakes my rear view mirror) I wish I would've of discovered this brand in the early 2000's when I was crazy about car audio.

Taramps Bass 400
If you want a tiny amp that fits in the palm of your hand and also works like one twice Its size, this one is for you. Running an MB Quart shallow mount 12 off of this amp in a sealed box in my single cab S10 pickup and It's surprisingly loud. My previous setup was 2 Skar audio 10s and 1000 watt Audiozerone class d amp and this is almost as loud. Big sound, small space, win win.

Small, and sounds pretty good.
I bought this for an experimental modification to a JBL sound bar, which didnt impress me. I wanted a way to control the LPF and some bass control, so I thought why not a car audio amp. Wanted something small, cheap, and had decent amount of controls. This was a best choice. Hooked it up, and was impressed the amount of low end response it gave my wireless JBL sub. It's what it was missing. I will however say the bass Is a little weird. I have the LPF all the way down, and still hear frequencies above 70Hz coming through, but besides that, it still sounds good. I'll be using this little beast for a while. Pros: Small footprint, fit virtually anywhere. Powerful. Variable frequency bass boost. Turns on automatically with high level input. Does not get hot Cons: LPF still allows higher frequencies through. Bass isn't super clean. Doesn't have any RCA output Crossover slope only 12db/oct.

Exceeded my expectations too good to be true! Small footprint, big quality bass.
I had very low expectations for this product because of the price. I have never had success with a cheaper brands. I knew it was going to let me down in someway or another but I installed it in a Honda element suv. I was surprised how small it was for how much power it has. I was able to wire it up with a 400W amp wiring kit ran it for at least 2 to 3 hours very high and it did not clip or over heat. It just got a little warm. Powering a shallow JL, audio 10 inch subwoofer at 2 ohms. Only needed to turn up the gain 35% the only negative things that I have to say is that the terminals are very cheap. Easy to strip if you’re not careful. Also, the adjustment knobs are hard to turn unless you have a very small head screwdriver and they also seem cheap and easy to break. It has a high-level speaker wiring input, but it seemed to work better with RCA. The amp has no fuse on it. Comes with a sticker/advertisement. Not packaged that well in a small cardboard box no padding. The price is unreal for what it does. I would definitely buy another one easy to conceal under a seat or by your spare tire. Was able to put out the amount of power that I was looking for great buy good product. Hope it holds up.

Muy mala calidad de audio se oye mejor un radio de barias que esto aparte no da los 400w que promete el fabricante cuando más 5w

Better than expected
Exceeded expectations! Wasn’t expecting much at the price point but didn’t want to spend much on an amp for an old project truck. This little thing pushes my little 8” sub perfectly. I’ll have to check out Taramps for my other vehicles too.

Great amp! First amp didn't match the photo that I ordered. I ordered the 2ohm amp and was expecting to receive the amp with the port which would allow a remote bass control knob. Unfortunately I was sent a completely different amp from the picture which didn't have the bass control port. I got a considerable discount on the first amp so I assumed maybe the seller sent me old stock but wasn't 100% sure. I contacted amazon and they assured me if I ordered a second amp, it would match the photos including the port for the bass amp control. So I ordered it again and this this second amp did in fact match the photos and included a port for the bass remote amp control which I was very happy with. I had already ordered the accessory for the bass remote amp control so obviously receiving an amp that didn't match the description pictures was a tad bit annoying. This is no fault of taramps or the product as both amps are quality products. But because I wanted a bass control knob feature and I ordered an amp that had such a feature as per the listing photos, I was very disappointed when mine didn't have it. Original seller disappointment, second seller was different and not taramps fault. Anyway, this amp is fantastic for the price. It pushes my 10" sub very well and takes up very little space. I purchased the taramps bass remote level knob and it works perfectly with this amp. I did a lot of research on this and the taramps bass level knob with the 3 led lights ONLY works with amps that say "monitor level remote" on the amp. If your taramps amp doesn't have this on it, then it's only some sort of diagnostics port that won't control the bass. There seems to be two variations of some of the taramps lineup specifically the taramps model listed in this description. There is an older model version which doesn't have the "monitor level remote" output which I received at a discounted rate and there is a newer variation with the port which I received on my second order and paying 30 dollars more which is fine. I wanted the additional feature cause I had already purchased the remote so it was fine. To those who want the remote feature, it will work with the taramps remote with the 3 LED's. I can confirm this. Remote fiasco aside. This amp does a great job of pushing my 10" subwoofer that is rated for 300rms watts in my truck. I watched some reviews online that stated it's rated for closer to 360rms so it is a solid amp! Crazy they make this level of an amp for 100 bucks.
