LRI XMW X-Light LED Keychain Micro-Light

I have owned this little flashlight as well as other mini flashlights made by this company for several years. I keep one on all my keychains, on my camera bags, in my car, basically any place I think I might need an emergency light. I can't even begin to count how many I have given as gifts. This is my favorite in the photon series made by LRI (you have to love a company named "laughing rabbit inc"). It is so easy to use and glows in the dark so you can find it when the lights go out.What makes me wax poetic about a silly little flashlight? For one thing, it ALWAYS works. I've yet to have one fail on me because of a battery or bulb problem. Many times I have been in a dark setting and have pulled out this light to read something or find my way and someone will comment that they, too, have a keychain flashlight but it stopped working. I did have one of these that finally died after years of being on a keychain subjected to constant abuse by from the clanging keys, rain, falling in the snow, etc, but I am telling you it hung on strong and bright for long long time.Blackouts? We've had a few. This X-Light is the first light I look for when making my way around a dark house. I can read by it (well, that was before I had my kindle paperwhite and now I can read anywhere) and I can use it to find my larger flashlights if the blackout is going to go on a while.Bottom line is this.... you can waste your money on other look alike keychain flashlights but they just wont last. I know, I've tried many of them. This thing will last and last and last and at the price you can get it here on Amazon, I guarantee you you'll be getting more than your money's worth. You should probably pick up two and I am sure you'll find a use for them both.I don't work for the company and no one is paying me for this review. This flashlight is just that great.

I bought this LED light to keep in my purse so I always have some type of light available to me, should I be out shopping, in a theater, some place other than home where I know where I keep my flashlights. Primarily for safety reason. It is small, fits easily on my key chain, so I have it with me always. If I have my keys and purse with me, I have this light. It is also useful when you're in a restaurant or theater and you're looking for something in your purse. This little light is very bright. The LED lights are wonderful and now they are small enough to be able to carry easily with you everywhere. I used to carry a small MAGLITE in my brief case, but since I retired, I don't carry a brief case with me. That small MAGLITE is to heavy to put in a purse. This small LED light is very light weight. They last a very long time. This little LED light gives me the ability to carry a flashlight, but remains very small and light weight. I like it. I would recommend to a friend.

I'm not up to speed with all the keychain lights out there but I'm very impressed with this one!As others have said, the light is bright, it is super lightweight and not easy to for it to be turned on accidently.I bought a couple as backup lights for our headlamps for hiking since they are ridiculously lightweight and throw out a good amount of light. I then bought a couple more just to have in the cars and our emergency kits.I am amazed that they built in these other functions: strobe, SOS and the like. Don't know if others manufacturers have these features but I thought it was kind of ingenious and makes me fee like I'm getting more for my money, although, they are pretty cheap to begin with. I doubt I'll remember how to engage these features if I was to need them, tho. So, I cut out that part of the instructions and put them in the cars and emergency kits.I have subsequently bought other stuff from this manufacturer and I'm very happy with the quality of their products.

This key chain micro light is great, just what I was looking for, bright led light, compact and easy to add to my key ring. Just had one small issue with it or else I would have given it 5 stars. I need a light that says on for more than the 'instant' mode of 6 to 8 seconds and the instructions on the package did not indicate how to change to the 3 minute setting. Upon going to the website, I finally found the instructions which were embedded. I'm posting here to save others the time.3 Minute Timer mode automatically shuts the light Off after 3 minutes. While in this mode you have full access to full range brightness control, the 3 strobe beacons and automatic SOS all of which will shut off in 3 minutes. This mode is great because it allows you to use the lights full functionality and is a warranty against inadvertent battery drain.- To access this mode press the button rapidly four times or until the button only stays on when pressed. Next press and hold the button, the light will turn itself Off, continue to hold the button for another 5 seconds, the light will blink once to let you know you are now in 3 minute timer mode.- To exit this mode press the button rapidly four times or until the button only stays on when pressed. Next hold the button for 4 seconds or until the light shuts off. And you have exited 3 minute timer mode!2021 update: the one I have lasted 5 years with one battery replacement! Buying another!

I bought several of these in 2014. Use them in camping, hiking, and in my motorcycle emergency pouch. Love them! Clipped to my jacket pull while camping, I always have a flashlight handy. Also works great clipped to ceiling of tent. I keep one in my purse, along with a whistle, for emergencies. I ordered these this December for Christmas gifts (and an extra one for me).They are bright for their tiny size. Durable, still using the ones I bought in 2014. The white ones are the brightest. The battery life is fine, but I keep spare batteries available just in case. I will continue buy these for myself and for gifts for as long as they maintain their high quality.
