I found it very smart. Taking my cooking skill to the next level as I love to travel & always feel to have rice in the middle night in the hotel. With this purchase, I could easily make some comfort food after keep trying foreign cuisine for many days but will need a break to fresh up the taste bud. It is also a good money saving alternative if we don't want to keep eating outside on every single travel day. Keep experimenting!

Great item until I discovered the price is stiff and there are so many available glass containers for that price.

I use it everyday to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. just one box in 15 mins cooking done. Super easy super fast. Save time washing up

Very disappointed with this product. Bought it specifically for microwaving rice. Instructions don’t include how to microwave just plain rice although it’s tauted to be a rice cooker. The best calculation for cooking rice is one cup of rice - two cups water - at power 5 for 3 minute intervals or you will end up with rice water all over your microwave. My microwave is 750 watts. Always put product in pan in microwave. Otherwise you have a sticky mess. Better yet - don’t buy until manufacturer cleans up instruction.

Basically a plastic pot with a slotted tray in the bottom and a lid that has a steam vent.Nice little cook book that tells you how to do everything ....except cook rice! .......which it does not do well, so just add pre cooked rice to the pot.Microwave still ends up soaked incondensation.I have found it very useful for steaming veggies and fish.Perfect size for one person meals.
