Well worth it!
Super happy with these stitching frames and the colours are lovely. Very good quality too, very strong and keeps your stitching project nice and secure.

The frames are very tight!
I really like these frames, but we're really tight especially putting a piece of aoda to embroider!3 good sized frames!

Ideal for framing Cross stitch panels
I've used these or similar frames in the past. If working a small cross-stitch design, they are excellent - the frame holds the Aida nice and tight while working the design, and then provides a good frame for hanging it. Should it be necessary to move the work within the frame, it can be done but it's not easy! SO ensure that your design fits within the inner (invisible) frame.They wouldn't be suitable for a soft fabric; canvas or Aida is good, but it wouldn't work for embroidery on a soft material.

Smaller than described! Otherwise good
These frames are durable and attractive. They are made out of plastic, and the imitation wood grain on the outer hoop is actually textured, not just painted on.My only complaint is a significant one - the size guide is NOT accurate! The image showing the measurements looks like it is giving the inner diameter, but is actually giving the diameter of the whole hoop, frame included.I bought this to frame a 16 cm wide embroidery piece, thinking the "17.3 cm" hoop would be perfect, but due to the width of the hoop being included in this measurement, it is in fact too small. The inside measurement of the largest hoop is only 15.3 cm.I will be keeping the frames to use for other projects, but this is extremely frustrating!If you are considering buying this product, be aware that the hoop itself is 1 cm wide, so subtract 2 cm (approx. 3/4 in) from the given measurements to find out what size piece will actually fit in each frame.

These embroidery hoops are very good quality and they are easy to use.

Good Value for Money
I've always been a traditional wooden hoop user for my cross stitch but I had a design to do that wouldn't fit in any of the hoops I own. Whilst searching for a new hoop I came across these and one was the perfect dimensions for the whole project meaning I wouldn't have to keep moving it, plus these were significantly cheaper than a hoop that wouldn't fit as well. So I took a risk and boy did it pay off. The shape works so much better with cross-stitch projects that tend to be rectangular in nature (at least the ones I do) I use it very successfully for the project I bought them for and I've now switched to using one of the bigger ones for another project and it is working well. Whilst I won't get rid of my hoops as I'm sure there will be a time and a place for them these will now be my go to set when starting a project.

great shape
These are a great shape as a lot of cross stitch charts are rectangular and you do not need to move the fabric around when stitching. The only problem I have found is that you need a screwdriver to tighten them fully.

Perfect shaped Hoop for my project
So excited to receive these hoops. They will allow me to create a embroidery with all my components, without having to adjust the hoop. Nice colors, sturdy, perfect sizes.

Missing Needles
Helps to have strong hands for getting these hoops on. Although I like the square hoops especially for framing embroidery the package was delivered ripped open and without the needles listed.

JUST AS DESCRIBED
EASY TO USE FOR ALL CROSS STICH AND EMBROIDERY FABRIC. JUST USE IT IN REVERSED ORDER: HOOP WITH SCREW UNDER THE FABRIC AND PUSH THE SMALLER HOOP ON TOP. THEN STRAIGHTEN THE FABRIC AND TIGHTEN THE CREW. THE HOOP MARKS-IF ANY- ARE TOWARDS THE BACK AND YOU CAN IRON THEM OUT FROM THE BACK AS TO NOT FLATTEN YOUR STITCHES!

I love these hoops. It comes with five hoops (only four are pictured as one is in use). It's a bit tricky to get the fabric in them, but that's ok because it just means a tight seal. The ridges grip on to the fabric nice and tight and I haven't noticed any slippage at all. They are easily tightened. You can even tighten them with a screwdriver if you think you need it to be reaaaaaaly tight. lol
