Excellent for keeping bugs and ants out of your yard
This works great combined with water hose spray version of the same. Been using this combination for years in both Illinois and Tennessee on the outside with Home Defense on the inside and almost never have bugs inside or out.

10/10
This was directly recommended to me by my pets vet so I’ve been using it for the last 3 years. 10/10 no complaints and does what the product says it will do. Part of my yearly flea treatments.

I don't know if the headline is clear. Here's what I experienced. - 5,000 sq ft yard, give or take - single bag indicates it is good for up to 10,000 sq ft I put down 1 bag. Yes it seemed to stop bug damage on most of the yard. But there are these 2 areas, where my yard bumps up to adjacent both neighbors' flower beds. The bug damage was only slowed down, not stopped. Which kinda surprised me 'cuz I had just put down what I thought was 10K sq ft worth of insecticide on my 5K sq ft yard. So with much hesitation, a month later I put down another bag. But not on the whole yard. I focused on those long stretches that butt up to neighbors' flower beds. 1 week later I'm beginning to see the grass making some gains in those areas. Which is great for the grass. But wow I just don't want to put down that much insecticide again. 'Cuz of the environment, you know. So yea I really like how this product works as a systemic. Need a systemic plus a contact to give grass a chance here in north texas. But, I think I'll research for a different systemic for next summer. Just in case it works without having to put down so much. OK, your milage will surely vary. That was my milage.

Purchased the Granular application
After the second application: mosquitoes disappeared. No see ums left. Ants went to the backyard. Earwig's less. Mole crickets not as prominent. The grass appears healthy. I followed the directions and applied to the backyard. Lawn appears healthy. Still had problems with multiple insects.

I finally found the product to fix my lawn!
I had been battling a problem with my Texas St. Augustine since the end of June. A large circular brown area, with dead patches. As I write this it is 10/01. I originally thought it was Cinch bugs as I thought I’d seen them in the garden. Treated it with an old product I had. Didn’t work. I decided it was too old to be effective so bought a new kind from the store. Didn’t work. Fast forward to the beginning of August and I decided it must be brown patch. I know the symptoms are similar. Ordered a fungal treatment, used it twice 4 weeks apart. Didn’t work. We were now in hot, dry September and I finally had a lightbulb moment and realized the white grub things I thought were cinch bugs were actually white grubs! Ordered this after doing an Amazon search and within 2 days I could see the grass growing and filling in the bare, dead patches. 10 stars.

Fast acting and long lasting
I had chiggers eating me up every day when I'd go out and water my gardens and give my dogs fresh water. My dogs were always itching but never had fleas. They get ticks but even when I couldn't find any ticks they'd be scratching every couple of minutes. I spread this in my yard, watered the yard not well but not terrible (I'd just had surgery on my foot and was hand watering it with a hose) and within 24 hours the bugs in my yard were virtually non-existent. For perspective, I live on 40 acres with about 1/2 acre or so of fenced in yard. I only treated inside the fence and I only rent the mother-in-law's quarters on the property so the weeds on the other side of my fence are about 6ft tall and this stuff still keeps the bugs out of my yard. The spiders have gotten thick on the porch and in the house but the yard stays clear.

Works for chiggers
It took several applications but it took care of the chiggers in our yard. Also saw a reduction in ticks. The wild animals bring them through the woods into our yard. The dogs were bringing them in on their fur. We use a professional pest company for inside and directly outside but not the yard. We also have our dogs on meds. These granules were the only thing that helped for chiggers and ticks in our lawn and around the pole barn. I will honestly say I noticed more baby blue birds that died in their nesting boxes. That could be due to something else, but I noticed when we started treating our yard. We tried to make a barrier and use walk ways but the chiggers bites were too intense. Once the lawn is fully covered it lasts a few months.
