Safari Soft Slicker Brush w/Stainless Steel Pins, Large

Works great with other tools to get out matting, and helps well with trimming feet on pets. I love that it has little tiny pins that help prevent irritating the skin, and none of those tiny things have come off. This brand has great products.

We love this model of Safari slicker brush! I was hoping the new one I bought was larger than the one I already had (It wasn't.), but it is a handy size for my 2 heavily-coated Collies. I'll keep the older brush in the car for quick touch-ups; after several years of constant use, it still in very good condition. I have been buying Safari products for many, many years and have always been pleased. They last a long time and work well.The handle on this model is a grippy material, comfortable and easy to hold. My dogs clearly like this brush better than some of the others I have in my tool kit. The pins seem to be more gentle and there are fewer protests-during shedding season in particular when grooming sessions are longer than usual. I just wish the working surface was larger so that it wouldn't fill with fur so quickly.

I purchased the Li'l Pals Brush when my poodle was very young. He's now 7 months old and about 24 lbs and while I loved the little brush, I needed something larger but still with the same gentleness...enter the Safari Soft Slicker Brush w/ Stainless Steel Pins. This brush is perfect for what I need. It's identical to the Li'l Pals brush only much larger. (They're made by the same company). So, it gently brushes through my pups transitioning fur without any issues. He actually loves to be brushed now. This one is a keeper. If you're looking for a slicker brush without the harshness and for a pup with sensitive skin and soft fur / hair then this it is.

I've used these brushes for years and love them. Well made and have a soft give on the pins so it isn't so abrasive to my pets' skin.I'm a professional dog groomer and these are what I use everyday.

I’ve bought so many different brushes for my Yorkies including the expensive Chris Christensen brush slicker brush. This one is my favorite. My other one exactly like this lasted 3 years and I’m just replacing it now. This one is also perfect for small dogs.

These are okay brushes... I’m a groomer and wish that the little knobby thing were not in the bristles. I think it would grab more hair. But works for my pets at home with a medal comb

I love this brush. It was recommended to me for our llama. It works perfectly. It's soft enough that it doesn't hurt her but yet really pulled the hay and straw out of her fiber. I think it will be great for the dogs too. Very happy. Would order again.

The delivery was great. But after using the brush I realised it's nothing special. It's like any other slicker brush and it's so over priced. I already have a slicker brush which I got for like 1/5th the price and it's equally good. No need to spend so much for something you can get for a lot less.PS: It was a mistake on my part not to get the self cleaning one. I just had to pay a little more.
