Very impressed with this UGREEN M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure. The build quality feels premium, it is easy to install and works perfectly for transferring and storing files. The 10Gbps speed is fast and the aluminium design helps with heat control. Compact, reliable and a great way to reuse an old NVMe SSD as a portable drive. Highly recommended.

I've used Ugreen product for a while and always found them to be good quality. This is no exception. This is a very useful SSD enclosure for your NVMe drives. I am personally using this so that I can keep a clone of the main drive that is in my PC. It fits my 2280 SSD without issue and with the provided thermal pad the case fits quite snugly - which is to be expected as the case is part of the cooling mechanism of the enclosure. The enclosure is easy to use. Just push the button to open the drive. Securely push your SSD into the socket and use the screw in the appropriate hole to secure the drive into place. Apply the thermal pad and then close the enclosure again. The drive is easy to transfer from one PC to another as it is simply connected to your USB socket. The enclosure is able to transfer data from the host to the drive inside the enclosure at a good speed. When used for a long time, transferring data the enclosure can get warm, but that is showing that it is transferring heat away from the SSD and into the enclosure. This helps keep your drive from overheating and extends its lifespan.

Came with a silicone strip to protect the drive inside. Has a rubber casing to help against damages happening to the case or the drive inside. Comes with 2 cables for different connections. Comes with a mini screwdriver. No setting up required with the product itself (Can't say the same for the drive you're using but that doesn't apply to the product) Doesn't feel cheaply made. Temperatures have never gone above 38 degrees for me which is very good. Can be used as an external plug and play OS system (I had to clone my drive over to this and then format my previous drive as it wouldn't install directly to the external drive though, but again this is not a fault of the product itself) 10/10 would highly recommend.

Did the job for backing up my nvme and transferring it to a new drive, had some issues with one drive which had a heatsink attached, had to disassemble the casing for the enclosure a d cable tie the drive in place while doing the backup, fortunately the case clips apart and back together fairly easily and the PCB is help in with a couple of normal screws, so was too much of a task, but if your not DIY savvy it might be worth getting something that supports drives with heatsinks, the drive in question was a Samsung 990 pro with heatsink, and the heatsink wasn't easily detached as it has silly security screws, hence the disassembly of the enclosure. But it worked, it's fast, it's reliable, and it's now running as an external SSD system disk with no issues and fully assembled. It comes with a heat displacement pad which does the job too.

This little enclosure has become one of the most useful bits of tech I own. I use it with an NVMe SSD for two main jobs: storing my personal photo collection and carrying high-speed storage when I’m working on servers and backups. The transfer speeds are excellent, making it perfect for moving large amounts of data without spending ages waiting for files to copy. The aluminium casing feels premium, keeps the drive cool during longer transfers, and is compact enough to throw in my laptop bag without taking up any space. Installation was incredibly simple—pop the SSD in, close it up, and you’re good to go. No tools, no fuss. It’s also been rock solid in terms of reliability. Whether I’m backing up servers, transferring virtual machines, or accessing thousands of family photos, it’s never skipped a beat. If you’ve got a spare NVMe drive lying around, this is a fantastic way to turn it into an incredibly fast portable SSD for a fraction of the price of buying one ready-made. I never leave reviews but I was very relieved this helped me out of a bind. I was a bit wary as to whether this would work, I needed to get lots of important data from my dead Hp laptop. This worked like a charm. Plug the ssd into this then using supplied usb cable, transfer everything over. It worked on my macbook and pc. Very happy. On top of that, I now have a portable ssd to use for back ups. Well packaged, everything you need is supplied. Doesn't feel cheap and nasty. Hopefully you won't be disappointed.

Very easy to set up but there are two things to be aware of. First, there is a white heat disperser which looks as if it will do the opposite. It doesn't; just pack it in on top of the M.2 and it will do the job nicely. It feels very tight, which it should be. Second, the retainer "screw" is a rubber bung which needs to be pushed into the specially shaped in the floor of the tray that holds the M.2. It does not screw in. Then plug it into the connector socket and it will linked up automatiically.

Very simple design, allowing for quick and easy installation of a drive. The enclosure doesn't get hot and the transfer speeds are as good as if the drive was inside the computer. Being able to use USB C with it means it can be connected to a phone or a PC when required too.

J'ai acheté ce boîtier UGREEN pour recycler un SSD NVMe et en faire un disque externe ultra-rapide. Voici mon retour d'expérience : Les points forts : - Vitesse USB 3.2 Gen 2 : Les débits sont excellents. On atteint bien les 10 Gbps théoriques avec un SSD compatible. C'est parfait pour transférer de gros fichiers vidéo ou des jeux en quelques secondes. - Montage "Tool-free" : C'est un vrai bonheur. Pas besoin de tournevis, le système de fixation par clip est ingénieux et très solide. - Dissipation thermique : La coque en aluminium n'est pas là que pour le look, elle évacue très bien la chaleur. Même lors de gros transferts, le SSD reste à une température raisonnable grâce au pad thermique inclus. - Qualité de fabrication : C'est du UGREEN, donc c'est sobre, élégant et robuste. Les finitions sont impeccables. Le petit bémol : - Le câble fourni est un peu court (environ 25-30 cm). C'est bien pour un ordinateur portable, mais un peu juste si votre tour PC est posée au sol. Verdict : Un boîtier performant, fiable et très facile à installer. Un incontournable pour ceux qui veulent du stockage externe haute performance.

Produto com excelente qualidade !! A UGREEN vem se destacando cada vez mais por oferecer produtos com um acabamento de ótima qualidade e com tecnologia superior. O gabinete SSD foi uma aquisição que valeu cada centavo investido. DICA: ao inserir o SSD é necessário formatá-lo (fazer a partição) para começar a utiliza-lo como um pen-drive, mas o processo é muito simples. Recomendo.

He comprado otros productos de esta marca y siempre quedo satisfecho, pero esta vez superaron por mucho mis expectativas. Originalmente lo iba a ocupar solo una vez, ya que compre una nueva unidad NVME para mi laptop y requería una carcasa para clonar mi nueva unidad antes de instalarla permanentemente en el equipo. Así lo hice y el proceso fue rápido y sin problemas, pero me quedé tan contento con su calidad y conveniencia de uso que creo que voy a comprar otra unidad NVME solamente para tener pretexto para seguir ocupando esta carcasa. Me quedo corto dándole 5 estrellas.
