I trust this brand more than I trust any other. I used to use other popular brands for years until I switched to Slip! It’s super soft, slippery, and most importantly NOT HOT FOR SLEEPING AT ALL!! my skin has overall been better on my face as well and my hair gets less oily. Have you been debating? This is the brand for you!!!

Love my pink Slip Silk Pillowcase and I got it on a wonderful holiday sale! Arrived packaged in the sturdy and cute branded Slip box. I always hand wash my silk pillowcases inside out in Woolite with cool water before using, roll up in a dry towel to remove water, and lay flat to air dry, usually smoothed out across the top of my ironing board - which gets more use for drying things then it does for ironing! I generally change my silk pillowcases every few days or as needed and handwash several at once. Yes, you can machine wash on gentle in a laundry bag but silk is one of the most delicate fabrics and will last longer with some extra care. This Slip Silk Pillowcase washed very nicely, no noticeable color bleeding, and dried with minimal wrinkles. Inside seams are finished off well and the zipper runs smoothly. It is queen sized, 22 momme mulberry silk and it is obviously thicker feeling and looking than any 19 momme mulberry silk pillowcases I own. It feels extra silky smooth and soft against my skin for sleeping and tames my hair from wild bedhead which is what I love about using silk pillowcases! I have purchased many different silk pillowcase brands and this is one of the overall higher ones, quality-wise. That being said, definitely watch for a deal or sale on Slip because while it is great, $90 is very steep for a pillowcase, especially if ya haven't invested in a quality pillow first!

I’ve been on a silk pillowcase hunt and I did a major review of some of the most popular ones that I’ve bought here on Amazon. Out of 5 pillowcases including this ever so expensive Slip brand and the Blissy brand…. I hate to say it but the hype is real and warranted with the pricier brands. I got mine on sale so if you can catch that…catch it !!! These pillowcases are soft, smooth and is so silky!! It’s the black one in the picture. When they’re all folded in half is right out of the packaging. When they’re folded into squares is after they’ve been washed on a gentle cycle, inside out with silk detergent. They were then put on a line to air dry. They all held up well so no issue there whatsoever.

Stitching is bad.

This silk pillowcase is so lush. Its brilliant color is like costumewear from the set of a jolly holiday with Mary Poppins. Its comes in a box that is as pretty as the item. I keep it for storing stray jewelry that may or may not find its way onto my person in the course of the day.

So far, I am loving the feeling of this product. Have not felt it on my skin and hair, need more time, however it does keep the pillow super fresh during the night!

I had no idea how much of a difference a pillowcase could make! I have naturally curly hair so this helps with bed head. My ears normally hurt if I sleep on them too long (like, excruciating pain!)… For some reason, that doesn’t happen with this pillowcase. I’m totally amazed!! I have no clue why or how, but I’ll take it. I love how vibrant and fun the color is. I tried a different silk pillowcase (less expensive - different brand) and it lasted about a year. I’ve been waiting to get another one but didn’t want to spend the money. When this showed up in my search for new pillowcases, I thought I would try. I’m so glad I took the dive with this one!

This pillowcase is worth every penny. It's prevented sleep lines, my skin and hair retain moisture and I don't wake up with a bed head. The quality is great compared to a cheaper option I returned. It's the cost of a fascial and continues to pay you back.
