A very enjoyable story
The book makes for an excellent read for children in the age group of 10--15. With an aura of mystery and suspense the story is set around teen-age children guided by their adventurous and wise grandfather.Their original mission was to retrieve the family treasure but they stumble onto something far more precious.All the action takes place in the neighbourhood of Chennai (formerly known as Madras).The entire story is narrated such that it keeps the reader fully engaged.

The adventures of Geetha, Govind and Appu poignantly revive happy childhood memories when the simplest of things would bring on the laughter and excitement .Prema Srinivasan has written a book for all ages .The role of ‘Thatha ‘in the book is beautifully penned .Enjoyed the book very much !

An absolute children's fun thriller with all the twists and turns .
THE TREASURE HUNTERS WAS AN absolute fun thriller with children and their families. ENID Blyton's ham and sausages converted as South Indian lip smacking tamarind rice curd rice and tasty pickles. It also gave insights about sculpture the style of sculpture according to each kingdom like Gurjara prathihara.The value of our heritage is taken across to youngsters in a gripping manner with all twists and turns.

The Treasure Hunters is a truly delightful read that both educates & entertains children & adults alike. The vivid prose captures the spirit & essence of erstwhile Madras while taking the reader on a memorable adventure.

A true treasure!
An excellent fast paced mystery novel. I am sure it will delight the young teenagers and adults alike. The South Indian touch adds to the flavour!
