Xyron Permanent Adhesive Refills for X150 Sticker Maker, 1.5" x 20', Refill Cartridges, 4 Pack (AT155-20A)

I use it to re-sticky my vintage stickers and it works great. Would work even easier for making new stickers (my vintage stickers have some stickiness yet making it harder to put stickers through but still works great). Keep in mind for making new stickers is that all this is designed to do is add stickiness to the back it doesn't affect the front.Two downsides are that it seems kinda flimsy (I wouldn't recommend dropping it) and it's not clear when putting item in which side should be face up. I guessed wrong and ended up putting it in wrong, so stickiness ended up on front of sticker. I recommend putting a few practice items through first before putting in something important.

I recently bought a G1 Transformers Seeker from 1985 (40 year old toy). The set came with the original and unused stickers. Cool right?Yes, until the stickers fell off because the glue was so old!! 😬I tried heating up the glue with a hair dryer, pressing the stickers with my hands for minutes, yet the stickers would just peeloff.I considered using liquid glue, but that would have been a big mess and I didn't know what type of glue to use.The Xyron sticker maker saved my sanity.My G1 Transformers is now looking great.Practice before you use it!!!

They are wonderful use them all the time for scrapbooking. Makers great stickers.

Compact well made and very useful for crafters

This is a good product. It works. My only complaint is that it's hard to get the tape to go through straight. My stickers keep coming out crooked.

It's as good as the Xyron sticker & magnet maker it's designed for. Serves its purpose in repositioning stickers/decals, unlike its permanent counterpart, which is best for more elaborate, long term purpose projects! Easier when working with children or for those of us whose hands tend to shake a lot. It provides more "peace of mind, less anxiety" for the user (because it can be repositioned). However, depending on the material used to stick things on, it may or may not grip and seal as well as the permanent tape does. Therefore, it was good to test smaller decals on different texture papers and other surfaces, such as wood, to find that this tape won't always detach without harming the paper or object it is placed on. Having said that, it's extremely good quality tape, even for smaller wall decals (on semi-gloss paint!!) but you definitely don't want to take for granted it is damage free for all surfaces whenever peeling off from it. All things considered, this is a great option over the permanent but I don't think there should be comparison because each serve a different purpose. What I love about this repositionable tape is the freedom, peace of mind and less room for error as opposed to permanent tape. Actually, this is a great option as a "test" or "tryout" for those not so sure permanent projects that allow for testing with repositionable tape decal so you can see a preview of what your project will look like once you apply "the real deal" permanent tape decal piece! To me, this makes this tape far more versatile and useful than the permanent but again, it can't substitute permanent tape on various projects that demand better adhesive tape.For children, I highly recommend using this in smoother "shiny" paper, such as glossy photo paper, binder paper covers, already laminated art, plastic surfaces, such as toys, etc. These surfaces allow easier peeling hence easier repositioning. I definitely recommend this Xyron tape!

Works well, value, ease of use

Permanent is an understatement. If you aren't sure about a sticker, don't use it. Once this glue touches anything, it's not coming off. Good value if purchased in a pack. Not available in any of the Michael's stores I went to. I still get confused if I put the paper in the roller face up or face down. I have to read the instructions again.
