The product really is cat proof. Getting the coarser screen into the original slot with just the tool given isn't the easiest. Doable with help of extra large screw driver to assist in getting the screen to stay in the groove.

screen comes folded instead of rolled and it is about impossible to get all fold lines stretched completely out.

This is a great screen kit for the money, comes with all the tools you need and they aren’t the best tools but they are quality enough to use for other things, plenty of screen that’s good quality….. highly recommend

Rubber fitting is too difficult to push in between and took me longer time to press it for my patio door screen. The roller tool is too big to fit inside between for the rubber to go in.

The screen itself is very good. Durable. Easy to install, so I added a star and gave it two. But it comes folded instead of rolled! Why this seemed like a good idea…I don’t know!! Because no matter how much you stretch and pull, you can still see the fold lines. Looks horrible. Went to the local hardware store and bought pet screen. Used the tools that came in this kit, so not a total loss.

I bought another set before this one not realizing it was the same brand. The other set came folded and lines were all throughout so I returned it. Based on the picture, I thought it was rolled. So i ordered this one, also realizing I needed more sq ft only to find it was also folded. I looked back at the product description on Amazon and found that it addressed the folding issue. Said to iron or set out in the sun for a few days. And to stretch the material as you're installing it. The manufacturer shares that the lines will go away. Unfortunately I had to use this I had no other choice because I needed to get the screen replaced. It's been a month and the lines are still there. I stretched as recommended. It's honestly very frustrating and now I can't return because I've already used it. Ridiculous. The material is nice I'll give them that but the fact that there are folds through it is honestly just stupid. I don't understand why they can't just roll the damn screen material. It would make it so much easier.

The kit includes a tape measure, a spline roller, a retractable utility knife and a squeegee/brush. Too bad the screen comes folded up. There is no way it's usable, with the hard creases in it. I tried everything, including an iron to smooth them out. It cannot be stretched enough to pull them out.
