These beans were so old, even after soaking overnight and cooking for 3 hours, they were still tough and crumbly. Best of 1990, I guess?? We had to toss out the whole lot, after cooking the first lb.

Just made the best chili ever with these beans absolutely great. Label says distributed by the farm in Illinois? Hope it was grown in US?

I have ordered this product 3 or 4 times. I have tried many pinto beans, but these are by far the best that I have had. I even ordered in February and they put a heart sticker on it and I got it on Valentine's day... I loved this little piece of personality! It was a very welcomed sight on such a day. I live in Missouri and also like the idea that they are grown so close to home.
