Great for PSP
Purchased this product for my PSP. Read some reviews which said product read/write speed is slow. I just transfered over 1GB of data from my PS3 to the PSP and it was reasonably quick. Played games stored in my memory stick and did not notice any difference in loading times, fairly quick even. Unless you are the type of person who notices every second that passes by then get the higher end one for peace of mind, but for me this works great.By the way, I can confirm product is authentic, I was able to register my product with Sandisk. I initially hesitated to purchase this product from Amazon after seeing a review which says product was fake, the review did not indicate who was the seller, note that there are several sellers of this same product. Emailed Amazon about my concerns on fake products and they responded promptly and put my concerns to rest. Chose a seller who seems to be with Amazon for a while and purchased the product from them. Seller is Digital Media Source. Quite satisfied with my purchase.

Great product for great price, especially for psp.
Down to the point, since many will look at reviews to see if they should get one. Ordered on a sunday, got it on a thursday. Comes vacuumed package with proof of purchase/receipt. Actual SanDisk packaged memory stick pro duo. 8gb stick in that light blue/violet color. Put it in your psp and and play games, music or videos. So with unnecessary comments out the way, it is cheap and a great product for the price, so why buy a expensive sony. I mean 8gb for the price they are selling, and SanDisk is a awesome brand! You if you really want to take a look at what it looks like then best buy is selling the exact one I have.[...]That link goes to the exact one i was given, except i got the enviro-friendly packaging. Conclusion, if you have a psp and need more memory space for cheap, get the F@#$ing card.

W810i Memory
Put it in my and my wife's SE W810i phones. The phone does not report an 8GB chip (only up to 4GB) but you can still load more than 4GB, the phone reads the files and they work! So now I have quadrupled the memory capacity thereby allowing me to greatly increase the games, themes, ringtones, and esp. the music files I have on the phone! The phone does boot up noticeably slower (on my phone --having 7GB of files on it); the wife's phone does not have as much stored on the card and it boots a little quicker, but still slower than when I had 2GB cards in there. The phone still seems to operate well in the menus and when selecting songs, etc. so its not bogged down throughout, only slower at the initial startup.

Adapter? What adapter?
This memory card works as intended. I've had no problems with it, so far, in my PSP, and the read and write speeds seem, subjectively, adequate. The only problem I have is that, despite what the item description says, it does NOT come with an adapter. Fortunately I did not need it, though I would have preferred to use it so I could use my built-in card reader instead of the PSP to write to it.Pros:Cheap, yet works well.Cons:Does NOT come with an adapter even though the product description says it does.

Stick it in (the PSP), forget about it
Bought this in April 2009 for one of our kids' PSP (paid $35 at the time) and it's still in use. There are 2 great things about this card in a PSP:- 8GB is large enough to hold a couple of movies he brings along on long trips plus I don't know how many downloaded full games plus lots of game saves.- Never had to worry about it. Once installed, never had to take it out, never lost one bit of data, just did its job.As far as performance, I can't comment about performance in a camera but it blends with the PSP perfectly. Movies play well and so do the games. I consider it an excellent buy.

Perfect memory for PSP.
Bought this memory stick to go with a PSP I had given my wife for Christmas. So far it is working perfectly. I did a lot of price comparison shopping for this particular type of mem and wound up purchasing it from an independent Amazon store. This is the exact same type of mem stick that Sony produces for most of it's products from game systems to cameras but for half the price that Sony charges. Certainly prices on flash memory are in constant fluctuation, although lately they have been falling. This by far was the best price I found on this particular product. I will have to wait and see how the integrity is but so far it works like a charm.

Good purchase for my Sony products
I'm using this pro duo for my PSP 3000 and it is very nice to have the extra storage. I have 1gb reserved for game saves, and couple gb saved for PS one classics and full PSP games. Before I was using a 2gb pro duo and it just wasn't enough. I had a couple SD cards from SanDisk and they are all great quality with good transfer speeds. This is a great product and 8gb of space is pretty good for $25. I also have a Cybershot at home so this'll come in handy in the future. All in all a good purchase for me; I recommend it if you have a PSP and plan on downloading lots of content, or if you take lots of pictures with your Sony camera.

Sony DSC-F717
It works. But!It is half the length as the original card, so...To insert it, you will need something to push it in (The old card will do the trick) and you will need to play a little so it locks in place.Trickier, is to get it out. You will probably need a thin screwdriver. I couldn't unlock it by pushing on it with the old card.If you are planning on swapping out to transfer into your computer often, don't get it. It would be better to use the original if you transfer often.Using tools to get it in and out.. Something will eventually go wrong. It will either get stuck or break something in the process. The review is based on using it on a DSC-F717. Debated on two or three stars. It works, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want anything like the original or don't want to deal with fumbling around with it.The pictures do come out OK.
