I use these for cutting plastic on cases of water and soda. One of the blades broke within 5 minutes of use and they seem rather dull for cutters. Ok time for an update .....The company reached out to me offering to send me their stronger yellow cutters because I was disappointed in the purple ones. I've been using them for a few days now and they are much better than the purple ones. Thanks Much. I am giving them a 5 star mostly because of the great customer service.

Got these and several other knifes for a friend who works at Kroger to use safely and simplify their max cutting experience. They love them and use them at home and at work for many uses. I said the last quite a while. I also kept a few myself and have had great experience using them for a limited number of times. I can’t personally say how long they last but I am told by someone using them for a job they will last reasonably long.

I volunteer at a local food bank. They used to provide regular box cutters for the volunteers to use which I thought was rather hazardous. Many of the volunteers are kids from local high schools and I thought it was a disaster waiting to happen. So I looked into a safer/cheaper alternative and I found these! These are GREAT! They are safe, cheap, and they each have a loop so they can be 'hang' up when not in use. The food bank I donated them to, absolutely love them. Highly recommend

They do break after a while so not for heavy duty breakdowns but for packages, tape I feel much safer using the covered blade
