How to fix the LED (For me at least)
OK So after my old headset finally broke, I decided to get a USB headset so that I can manually set what programs use it, and which ones I run through my speakers, as you can't do this with 2 3.5 connected devices.I chose this one for 2 reasons: The price and the foam earpads. I have children, and I game late at night when they are asleep, so it was important that I didn't get a noise cancellation set. With the foam pads, I can leave one half on one of my ears, and still catch what I am listening to / if either of them wakes up and yells for me.Now on to the good stuff. That LED was the most annoying, distracting thing I've encountered from a peripheral. It flickers faster and faster, the more things are going on. When I had this hooked up to play through a game AND Ventrilo, it would blink about twice per second, with a light bright enough to help ships land safely on cloudy nights. I would say to use this fix at your own risk. I took a mechanical screwdriver, and opened up the back of the LED / volume controls section. I identified the blue LED, and then hit it a few times with the screwdriver, and put everything back together. If you are more tech-minded than me, i'm sure you could use solder or remove this in a professional manner, but I'm just an annoyed guy at this point. I put it back together, and VOILA! No more flashing blue light, or constant blue light at all. The Red light still comes on to let me know when I have the mic muted as this is a completely different LED (Make sure to only hurt the annoying one).So while this is not a fix that I think you will find on iMicro's website, after 2 hours of google'ing everything from the headset name / the Cset info etc, I could find nothing but complaints about this LED. I could find no resource with any tricks to turn it off. I am infinitely happier now that the light is 100% off and the headset is working great! It is behaving like a 5 Star product now, but it lost a star for the LED, and a star for the lack of any documentation in the box OR online.

Works on Windows 8.1 and with Dragon Naturally Speaking 12.
I bought this headset for two reasons: 1) it had a good price, and 2) I needed a headset for use with dictation software.I am happy with the product because it does exactly what I wanted to do. I am on Windows 8.1 and I am using Nuance's Dragon Naturally Speaking 12. For this purpose it has been very effective. My voice sounds clear through the headset and I have not had any issues dictating. Any audio sounds good enough through the headphones that I don't feel like I need to switch to my better music oriented headphones. The headphones have been much more comfortable to wear then I had expected them to be. I do want to point out that I do have a smaller head, but what I like about them is that they do not pinch my ears the way that some cheap headphones do. They don't point inward as though they are trying to drill into my brain through my ears or render me unconscious.Installation was simple. I plugged the USB into my laptop and it automatically installed the drivers. It began working immediately after. To make sure that your computer recognizes and is ready to use the mic, on Windows go into: control panel> hardware and sound> sound> manage audio devices. This will take you to an area where you specify which microphone AND headphones you want to use. There are two different tabs. I had to do a little trouble shooting on my laptop because I have a built-in WebCam and the default microphone was my WebCams mic so I had to fumble around with my settings for a bit. Once I used the correct control panel it worked fine. I say this because I have a multimedia laptop so it has more media software and audio software than a standard computer which basically means that I have about ten different audio management control panels most of which I will never have a reason to use. So I wasted twenty minutes fumbling with my Realtek Audio panel because it had mic related options, when all I needed was hardware and sound. If your headphones are working, but the mic isn't then you probably didn't go into the right control panel. Hope this saves someone some time lol.

Surprisingly Good, Excellent Price.
Having all intention of purchasing another Logitech G330, I came to the inter-web to discover that not just Amazon (where I purchased my original), but every other online retailer was now selling that headset at almost $100 compared to my original purchase price of less than a third of that. Being way to frugal to even consider those prices, we tried these. My wife, three sons (1st through 4th grade), and I all find these surprisingly comfortable. Although not the "behind the head" style I prefer, my sons all find these much more comfortable for the longer online classes they use them for. The foam earpiece covers are not perfectly fitted, but no hotspots or other discomfort develops even over the course of a morning marathon of schoolwork. The microphone boom, USB cable, and inline controls all feel very solidly built. Putting myself on the receiving end of a Skype call from a family member using these, we agreed that the microphone was clear and ambient noise was well attenuated. The inline volume control controls the actual system volume (in Windows, anyway) so visual feedback is instant. The only quirk we've found with the iMicros is both our headsets require the system volume to be set no higher than 4%, and comfortably at 2%. This doesn't affect sound quality which is very reasonable for an $11 headset - even very good compared to my Logitechs; it is just quirky.I'm honestly considering purchasing another two pair of these so I have backups for our family of five - online classes, Rosetta Stone, and conference calls/Skype calls have all done very well with this headset. I rarely write product reviews, but after purchasing these without much hope of them being of much quality considering the rest of the market, I am honestly and very happily surprised. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a USB only computer headset.

Clear and light, easy to use.
This USB headset is the best I've used, and I've gone through a lot. I do a lot of conference calls on skype or goto meeting, etc. and have never had a complaint about the other end of the line not being able to hear me with these, except once when I'd moved the microphone too far away from my mouth to drink my coffee. Also, the headset is light enough that it doesn't drag my ears down or squeeze my head and give me a headache, like some bigger gaming headsets do (which I was using before I got this one, borrowed from my significant other. I don't know how he plays for hours wearing his heavy headset.) It's also light enough to travel, but doesn't pack flat so be careful. I recommend this product.

Good value for money
I have bought more expensive headphones that also break, these just fit me better, and are more comfortable than many more expensive. Also they plug and play fine on mac and pc.Pros: Price, Comfort, Functionality.Cons: They are not built to last forever, so buy a couple.

hurts the ears
I don't know if it is made form a child's head, but it is so tight that is hurts the ears after a half an hour. I tried several positions and adjustments to no avail.
