I bought these hooks as part of a decoration I intend to make although it’s very obvious they are indeed very strong real fish hooks. They are much too Large even for actual big game fishing applications but they make great decorations.

When we lived in Alaska, a shark hook on a rope inserted into the corner of the halibut's mouth and pulled up through the gill plate meant that one's freezer would be full. My kiddo moved to Alaska, has a boat, and old Dad here is sending her one of these very high quality hooks.

These are sturdy and very nice hooks. Untraditionally used as door pulls but are an awesome decorative piece to our building. They are as described and should buy even bigger ones if they had them.

Product came on time and were well on their way to becoming sharp. The edges are definitely uneven and the points are not centered but can be easily fixed with a file which I always do anyway!
