Q: What are the dimensions of the bag?

I ordered this based on the dimensions in the photo for the medium. Those are not accurate at all. The base is 11" wife at the bottom. I returned the first one because I thought they sent me the small, but the 2nd medium I revived was the same. I have a 6lb Chihuahua mix and she is too big even for the medium. Bummer.

Q: Can this carrier be worn on the back?

I suppose it could, but I use it as a front carrier. My dog, Angel, loves it. She knows that when I get it out that it is time for her to go to work. (She is my service dog.)

Q: what is the height & width? my cat is approx 20" lenth with head , tail extra .is my purchase is right?

Height 12-13", width 10" and depth 9". I carry 2 x 2lb chihuahuas who curl up comfortably although if husband and I are tramping and the tinies have walked enough we have a pack each so we "share the load". Hope this helps.

Q: What is the zippered area for on the bottom front?

I use it to carry my house key or some $$ depending on where we're going. Mine actually has a zippered compartment w/in the zippered area. This inner compartment isn't very deep and will hold a credit card or some cash. I normally put my key in the outter zippered compartment. If you wanted to carry a fairly small amount of treats, they would also fit there.
