I looked at so many cheaper comparisons but decided ‘you get what you pay for’ and bought two of these for my two cocker spaniels. We took them aboard and have had heat up to 28° and these vests were amazing. We did a many lovely walks and they worked perfectly - lasting about 2 hours without needing a top up but we kept them damp and not only do they reflect the sun but they don’t wet the dog. I checked numerous times and they were so cool against the dogs body. Very different from cheaper vests ! Would definitely recommend to look after your dogs in hot weather! One of my dogs is now 12 and it gave me total peace of mind.

Quite stiff and bulky on my little fluffy dog but lightweight enough and definitely kept him cool. Stays wet for a long time. The underside doesn’t stay clean and white despite washing.

We had another cheaper cooling vest which dried out quickly and wasn’t as effective. This cooling jacket works well, stays cool for longer and well worth the money

Waste of money. Loose zip comes undone in minutes. Zips starts from neck end meaning it’s constantly coming undone during exercise. 3 uses in now and the zip has completely broken. Cheaply made product with high price tag. Would not recommend!

I can’t recommend this enough. For dogs who struggle in the heat this is the jacket with added uv protection. When you pour the water onto the jacket it doesn’t dampen your dogs fur. I would 100% recommend.

Heatwave and this came just in time for me to be able to to take him out for the afternoon. Came back cold and not even panting! Worth every penny

I have the £15 cooling vests from Pets at Home and honestly, they are cooler than this very expensive item. This probably stays wet for longer without refreshing it with more water, but the gelly type cheap pets at home ones are certainly colder!I have 3 dogs, all with different vests. I bought this expensive one for my pug who struggles in the heat thinking it would be superior, but it really wasn't. Its OK, but not worth the premium price.

Measure. It fits perfect, he likes wearing it. My black frisbee dog was over heating in a short time in the hot summer sun, this jacket saved him. He was able to play longer and enjoy being outside in the sun, as apposed to looking for a shady spot to hide in. It keeps him completely cool! Get it!!

I was sceptical of the cooking vest products and concerned about possibly wasting a lot of money, but my dark, thick haired pup suffers so much in the summer, even on slow walks in morning or evening. So, I took the plunge and was impressed at the results. The difference was drastic. She can now even go for runs, comfortably, happily & safely on days when she would struggle and suffer on a walk without the vest.Another positive - this brand fits my doggo really well whereas others just don’t work. She’s a thickly built, deep chested medium sized (57 lb) dog so the length of this went the length of her back and the adjustments make it super comfortable (she hates harnesses but is happy with this vest!).We’ve done one mountain hike (a few hours) with it and it maintained its effectiveness throughout.Tip: when you soak the vest before use, don’t wring the water out very much - it is more effective with more water retained in it.I’m so glad that I got this - being able to walk my dog safely in the summer is wonderful - worth every penny to see my furry friend comfortable and happy.

1st a little expectation management, we live in lower Alabama, it’s hot and humid. My boy is a Belgian Malinios with a short light coat, and tons of energy and drive.This vest means me and my boy can ride together in summer. We’ve done 3 rides varying in speed and distance. Heat index was 99* to 104* on rides. We’ve focused on one trail that has a bike washing station at trail head for access to copious amounts of fresh water. Plus trail has several loops of varying distance. I am building my pups conditioning for longer rides and trips in the cooler season.This vest is a game changer!!! Previously he just could not ride with me in summer, especially on days when it is impossible to do early rides.I frequently recharge vest and cool pup down, before it dries out. Interval of recharging varies by ride intensity, meaning faster the pace the shorter the recharge interval. Constantly monitor him for signs heat is getting to him. I discourage him using creeks and avoid ponds altogether for recharging, kinda concerned about certain wildlife. This is lower Alabama after all.Water on the vest with dirt from trails makes mud, that rinses off easily and the stuff that doesn’t rinse off brushes off after drying out completely.I’d recommend this vest to anyone that understands that this is not a “set it and forget it” device. It is a great product in my opinion but only helps reduce risk of heat injury it with proper planning and monitoring. Especially for high drive dogs that will literally go until hurt themselves. This vest as a training adjunct and risk mitigation is a total game changer.

Es muy bonito y muy util. Yo lo mojo con agua y luego lo meto en el frigorifico. Dura como dos horas. Lo unico es que deberia ser mas largo de cuerpo. Porque la unica medida es la de torax.
